More pressure does not mean better results!
I often have new clients come in and ask for more pressure or say things like "You can go as hard as you want".
Heavy pressure can actually have a negative affect and cause the muscles to tense and become harder to release.
Plus who wants to leave feeling sorer than they come in?
I like to tailor my massages to the individual and what they need and find the pressure their body seems to respond to best.
