Today was absolutely FLAT OUT from start to finish, I swear I blinked and somehow it was knock-off time!!

REMINDER — TOMORROW IS LATE NIGHT THURSDAY 💃🏻
I’ll be in from 8:30AM – 7PM!

I will just be ducking out at 2:00PM for around two hours for a quick appointment, then I’ll be straight back behind the chair and cutting until 7PM ✂️

Little bit of housekeeping while I’ve got you guys here…

Some of you know that I have a number of younger clients with additional/special needs who find the noise, people and general chaos of a busy barbershop a little overwhelming. Where I can, I’m more than happy to organise their haircuts outside of normal shop hours so they can have a quieter, calmer experience that works better for them 🖤

It’s something I’ve always been happy to offer because I know how much easier it can make things, not only for my little clients, but for their families too.

BUTTTT… please remember that when you organise one of these times, I’m giving up my own time outside of work and, more importantly, time with my own little ones and family.

So if we’ve organised an after-hours time, please be prompt and please show up. If something comes up, that’s life, just flick me a message and let me know. 🙏🏼

I’ll always do my best to do right by you guys, so all I ask is that you do the same by me. 🫶🏼 Please don’t take advantage of something I genuinely offer because I want to help.

Just so you guys are aware, As of October 1st, card surcharges are officially gone!

Now before anyone gets too excited — the fees us small businesses PAY to accept your card didn’t disappear… apparently we just get to keep those little beauties ourselves 🤣💸

Luckily for you lot, I’ve ALWAYS absorbed my card fees anyway, so absolutely nothing changes at Spencey’s. I’ll just continue handing out little pieces of my money like Oprah…

EFTPOS/card will ALWAYS be available 🖤 BUT cash or PayID/bank transfer are also very welcome, less fees means more money stays in this little one-woman business.

Because apparently owning a small business is just working really hard so the bank, the government and everyone else can have a turn at your wallet 🤣💅🏼

Straight back into the chaos — it was FLAT OUT, non-stop ALL DAY LONG! 😂✂️

A massive thank you to everyone who patiently waited for me to get back from holidays and then patiently waited again today while I worked my way through everyone! 🖤

Just a little bit of housekeeping while I’ve got you guys here 🫶🏼

Please remember that children need to be supervised at all times while they’re at the shop. The shop gets extremely busy, with lots of people coming and going throughout the day, so this is really important for their safety and for everyone else!!! I absolutely love that everyone feels comfortable here, but with how busy it gets, I simply can’t cut hair AND keep an eye on unsupervised kids at the same time.

Also, a little reminder that I OPEN AT 8:30AM unless I’ve posted otherwise. This morning’s lineup before opening was a little overwhelming 😅 so please be patient with each other and try to remember who arrived before you. Once I’m behind that chair and the clippers are going, I genuinely have NO idea who walked through the door first. 😂

I’m a one-woman show doing my best to keep everyone moving, so a little patience and kindness goes a bloody long way 🖤

Anyway… what a way to come back from holidays! 😂

And no, I haven’t disappeared, shut up shop or gone missing 😂 iv had some pretty panicked clients apparently, but stress less, I’m just enjoying a very well-earned break with the family!

I PINKY PROMISE I’ll be back on the 6th, ready for all the chaos, yarns and haircuts again 💈🤣
