Your lymph doesn’t have a heart pushing it around. It only moves when you breathe and when your muscles squeeze, which is why you can wake up puffy after eight hours of lying still.

So before your feet hit the floor, give it a hand.

Slow belly breaths first, then gentle strokes over the nodes at your neck and collarbone while you keep breathing deep. Pump the arms, point and flex the feet to get your calves working, and finish with a proper wiggle of everything.

A few minutes, no mat, and you don’t even have to get out of your PJs.

Save this for tomorrow morning. And if the puffiness hangs around all day, come and see us in clinic at Robina.

Can dry brushing fix a sluggish lymphatic system? Let me explain why this popular tool might not be the ultimate solution. If you have a compromised lymphatic system from conditions like lymphedema, lipedema, pelvic congestion, a tight diaphragm, or a stiff neck, dry brushing alone will not actually fix it.

How could I say no to this.. 😆

Anyone else 🙋🏻‍♀️ ?

Heavy legs, puffy ankles, swelling that won't budge. Three people can walk in with the same complaint and leave with three completely different treatment plans.

Lymphoedema is a lymphatic system problem. Lipoedema is a fat tissue problem. Post-op swelling is a healing problem. Each one needs a different pressure, a different compression plan and a different timeline.

If you've been managing swelling for years with no real answer, an assessment is the place to start. DM us or book via the link in bio.

We don’t just do dry lymphatic drainage, and we don’t work on everyone the same way 🤎

We have the versatile training, we have the clinical knowledge, we assess first, and we know which techniques to use and when.

Sometimes that’s gentle dry lymphatic drainage. Sometimes it includes more rhythmic, oiled abdominal work.

Your treatment is tailored to your body, your health and what you need.

When was the last time you had your tummy massaged… if ever? 👀

Nobody tells you this when you book a massage: relaxation and remedial aren't the same thing, and booking the wrong one is why "it felt nice but nothing changed".

Relaxation is for your nervous system. Remedial is for the thing that hurts. Both are valid, but they're not interchangeable.

If you've been chasing the same sore shoulder through three "nice" massages, that's your sign. Book link in bio, or DM us what's going on and we'll point you to the right therapist.

If dieting has never touched your legs, it might not be a willpower problem.

Lipoedema and lymphoedema don't respond to a calorie deficit. Plenty of women get told to diet anyway.

One quick place to look is your ankles.

"Just swipe towards your heart" is the lymphatic drainage tip everyone repeats. And it's a big reason a lot of at-home lymphatic massage isn't doing much.

Your lymph doesn't all travel the same way. It follows set pathways to specific groups of lymph nodes, and depending on the area, that can mean draining to the front of the body or round to the back.

So if you sweep everything in one direction, you can end up pushing fluid from one spot to another without actually clearing it.

That's why we never use the same routine on two people. Before we start, we look at what your body's working with, like fascial restrictions, bloating, or a scar from 20 years ago that still affects how things move.

If you've had lymphoedema, lipoedema, surgery, radiation or lymph nodes removed, your system may already be compromised. Then it really matters where the fluid goes, and what we do when the usual route isn't an option.

Hunched over a keyboard for the last four hours? It’s time for a desk worker reset. You don't even need to leave your chair to relieve that built-up tension in your neck, back, and shoulders. Take 60 seconds to follow this quick mobility routine, stretch out your spine, and reset your posture right at your desk.

"Just drink more water and your lymph will sort itself out."

Not quite.

Water alone won't move it. Dry brushing won't drain it. And your lymphatic system definitely doesn't flush itself like your kidneys do.

Six myths we hear every week, and what's actually true instead.

Swipe through before you book another "detox."
