✨ A LITTLE BUSINESS UPDATE… ✨
Okay friends, gather round because I have some not-so-fun-but-necessary news.

First of all — THANK YOU. 🤎

To every single one of my loyal clients: thank you for continuing to choose me, trust me with your hair, recommend me to your friends, listen to my life stories while I wave hot tools around your head 😂 and generally keep my little business going.

I appreciate you more than I can properly put into words.

Now… onto the awkward bit. 💸

As we all know, the cost of EVERYTHING has gone up. Products, supplies, bills, business expenses… basically if it exists, apparently it costs more now. 😂

I’ve held off increasing my prices for as long as I possibly could because I genuinely understand how tough it is when everyone’s expenses are going up. I never want someone to look at their hair appointment and think, “Well… guess I’m growing it out then.” 😭😂

But unfortunately, I’ve reached the point where I need to make a small adjustment to keep my business sustainable.

From 1st October 2026 my prices will be increasing, with most services going up by approximately $10–$15.

I know that’s still an increase, and I absolutely don’t take that lightly. I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about it and trying to keep the adjustment as reasonable as possible.

I want to continue using quality products, providing the time and care I do, and most importantly, still be here doing your hair for years to come. 🤎

So please know this isn’t a “let’s get rich and buy a yacht” price increase. 😂

It’s more of a “please let this small business continue to pay its bills while I dramatically stare at the cost of foils” situation. 🦝📈

Lola~ 4 hours in the chair and a whole lot of tiny foils later… this transformation is something ELSE. 😮‍💨
I used a mix of scalp foiling placements, teasy lights + freehand balayage to create a clean, even blonde, while keeping the finish soft and dimensional.
The soft root tap means Lola gets that gorgeous seamless blend as it grows out — because low maintenance blonde is the goal, not living at the salon. 😂
And poor Lola… after 4 hours of me constantly having my hands in her hair, she was officially touched out. 😂 I think we both need a nap 😴 😂

Jess ~ she’s moving to Sydney 🤍
And while I’m absolutely not emotionally prepared for her to move away, I’m SO bloody happy for her as she starts this next adventure! 🥹✨
Jess has quite literally been every colour under the sun… but somehow we’d never actually done her natural before 😂
So with a move, a new area and a new job on the horizon, today was all about getting her as close to her natural as possible for a super low-maintenance, band-free, beautiful vibe while she settles into her new chapter.
We gently stripped out the dark red and blended everything into her natural regrowth, creating a much softer, more seamless finish.
There are future balayage plans floating around 👀 but for today, the brief was simple:
✨ band free
✨ natural-looking
✨ low maintenance
✨ bloody beautiful
✨ ready to walk into that new job feeling like herself
