Think a straightening retouch is quicker, easier, and much cheaper because only the regrowth is treated? 🤔
A retouch is often more challenging than a full-head treatment.
Why? Because the regrowth and previously straightened hair have completely different conditions. Previous colour services, porosity, and existing damage all need to be carefully considered.
If the overlap area isn't handled correctly, it can become overprocessed, leading to severe damage or even hair breakage.
A retouch also requires almost the same amount of time as a full-head treatment, which is why the price cannot be dramatically lower.
