Sirens hosted a come and try event for Masters this Tuesday with a great turnout. What a wonderful time we all had!!! 🙌 Many ladies trying artistic swimming for the first time and really enjoying themselves.

Yesterday, our Swan River Sirens athletes completed their first Star Assessment of the year, and we are so proud to announce that every single athlete passed! 🧜‍♀️

A special congratulations to those who achieved multiple stars, showing their hard work, commitment, and progress throughout the season. And an extra shout-out to Miranda, who achieved an amazing FOUR stars all in once!⭐⭐⭐⭐

Well done to all our athletes for your dedication, perseverance, and passion. We couldn’t be prouder of how far you’ve come. Keep shining, Sirens! ✨

Our headcoach Alex 🙌❤️

She started swimming at six years old — to feel close to her grandfather. 💙

Meet Alexandra Del Sorbo, Head Coach of Swan River Sirens and one of the most experienced coaches in our community.

Alex began her artistic swimming journey in Italy, competing from the age of six and returning to the sport at fifteen to win regional titles in solo and duet. Not long after, she started coaching — and in her very first season led her team to the Italian National Championships.

Nearly 20 years of coaching later, Alex moved to Perth in 2020, became Head Coach of SupaNova, and went on to join the Australian Junior National Team coaching staff.

Three years ago she founded Swan River Sirens, which she describes as one of the most rewarding experiences of her career.

Away from the pool, Alex teaches Italian, French and Drama at Willetton Senior High School, runs her own personal training business, and is working towards a dream of creating an aquatic theatre production one day.

Oh — and she's a professional bodybuilder. 🏋️

We are so glad you found your way to WA, Alex. Our community is better for it.
