This client loved her colour however her  lifestyle just didnt suit the high maintenance of a full coverage colour so we started a process of embracing her natural and going for a much softer more blended low maintenance colour.

The first appointmemt was a big one to break the line from the previous tint colour.
It included a full head of  highlights and lowlights.

After that there was 1 more 1/4 head foils and a toner and from then on we have just been doing toners and her appointments have moved out to 10 to 12 weeks.

The biggest thing for Bernie has been that there is minimum maintenance now she can wait a lot longer between appointments, creating freedom of time. Her hair is more natural and healthier.

With the right home care routine and a toner when she has a haircut there is not much more to do :)

Every client is different and every colour plan should be too.

When it comes to colouring hair, including grey hair there isnt one "right" way. There are many options.

Some people love the full coverage polished look which requires more regular maintenance of retouching roots every 4 -6 weeks, it can also be part of their self care routine.

Others prefer a softer more lower maintenance approach, something they can leave a little longer between visits as it has a softer regrowth. This can suit busy lifestyles, people who are juggling work, kids, holidays and life and still want their colour to look great after 10 plus weeks.

There is no right or wrong way, there are options and together we can explore them and find one what suits you.
