REAL RECOVERY. REAL RESULTS.

This client underwent liposuction, tummy tuck and breast surgery in July.

Her recovery journey has included post-operative lymphatic treatments focused on supporting swelling, tissue mobility and the healing process.

The difference you see here is part of a progressive recovery — not an overnight transformation.

Less swelling.
Improved tissue appearance.
More definition.
A body continuing to heal.

Post-surgery care is not about forcing results.
It’s about working with the body at every stage of recovery.

Individual recovery and results vary.

Pain after a lymphatic massage? Here’s what you should know.

Lymphatic drainage can feel firm and rhythmic, but it should always feel controlled and comfortable. More pressure doesn’t mean better results — and pain isn’t a sign that the treatment is “working.”

A little temporary sensitivity may happen, particularly if an area was already tender, but severe, worsening or persistent pain isn’t an expected response to lymphatic drainage and shouldn’t simply be ignored.

Every body is different, which is why technique, pressure and treatment approach should be adapted to the individual.

Effective lymphatic drainage isn’t about how hard you can go. It’s about knowing where, how and when to work.

And if significant pain continues after a treatment, seek medical advice so the cause can be properly assessed.

“Get lymph’d” is officially my new favourite phrase 😂

But to be fair… we could all use a little lymphing every now and then.

Feeling puffy, heavy, bloated or just not quite yourself?

Go get lymph’d. 💧

Traditional vs Brazilian Lymphatic Massage — what’s the difference?

Both techniques work with the lymphatic system, but the approach and experience can feel quite different.

Traditional lymphatic drainage is usually very gentle, slow and focused on supporting lymphatic flow.

Brazilian lymphatic massage uses the same understanding of the lymphatic system but with a more dynamic rhythm, firmer movements and sculpting techniques. It’s often chosen by clients who want to feel lighter, less puffy and more defined after their treatment.

Neither is “better” — they simply have different approaches and goals.

At Lymphatic Massage Perth, our technique combines lymphatic knowledge with the Brazilian style we’re known for. 🇧🇷

Have you tried Brazilian lymphatic massage before?

Your lymphatic system is constantly working to collect excess fluid from the tissues and transport it back towards the circulation. It doesn’t simply switch between “moving” and “stagnant.”

What CAN happen is that lymphatic transport becomes reduced or impaired, or that the amount of fluid entering the tissues becomes greater than the lymphatic system can effectively manage.

When the system can’t keep up, fluid can accumulate in the tissues and swelling may develop.

But here’s the important part:

Swelling doesn’t automatically mean you have a lymphatic problem.

Swelling can have many different causes, which is why feeling puffy, bloated or heavy isn’t enough to conclude that your “lymph is stagnant.”

Think of lymphatic massage less like taking fluid out of your body… and more like helping traffic move again. 💧

Your lymphatic system is constantly working behind the scenes, moving fluid through your tissues and back into circulation.

Sometimes, things can feel a little congested — hello puffiness, heaviness and fluid retention 👋🏼

Lymphatic massage helps support that natural flow, encouraging excess fluid to keep moving through the pathways your body already has in place.

Your body already knows what to do.

Sometimes, it just needs a little help getting things moving. 💛

Less about “draining everything out.”
More about supporting the flow.

Feeling like you catch every cold that goes around?

Your lymphatic system is a key part of your immune system. It helps move immune cells throughout the body, filters unwanted substances through your lymph nodes, and removes excess fluid and waste.

Lymphatic massage doesn’t “activate” your immune system, but it can support healthy lymph flow and help your body function as it was designed to.

Sometimes, feeling better starts with supporting the systems already working hard for you.

Have you ever noticed how much lighter and clearer you feel after a lymphatic massage?
