What an incredible month August has been at Hairdressing & Barber School - Perth, Whadjuk Country! 🤩

From Inspiration Week to community days and plenty of hands-on training, it’s been a BIG month for our students 🫶🏼

Our 2B Hairdresser & Year 2 Barber students had the opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s most talented artists, who came into the school to educate, inspire and empower our students as they get closer to completing their training at Hairdressing & Barber School - Perth, Whadjuk Country ✂️

A MASSIVE thank you again to Maeve IRISH BARBER 🇮🇪 PERTH WA 🇦🇺 & Jude Jude Rewcastle from Gamma+ Australia & New Zealand , Robert Chrispin Robert Harneiss Nicole Lamers NICOLE LAMERS CREATIVE for taking the time to share your knowledge, skills and passion with our students 🫶🏼

We were also back at Short Back & Sidewalks, providing a service once again to the residents of St Bart’s as part of our ongoing partnership with Short Back & Sidewalks 🤝🏼

And of course, our students have been in full training mode throughout this month.. developing their skills, building confidence & preparing for their upcoming assessments🔥

We’re incredibly proud of the community we’ve built at Taylorweir and everything our students continue to achieve 🥰

Turning salon waste into positive change 🌱 Hairdressing & Barber School - Perth, Whadjuk Country Sustainable Salons 💚

Paul spoke with our students about the incredible impact recycling salon and barbershop waste can have on our environment, including how some of the waste we collect can be repurposed into something new ♻️

The Sustainable Salons team then put our students to the test, challenging them to sort different types of waste into the correct recycling bins… and we’re proud to say they passed! 👏🏼

We’re incredibly grateful to Paul and the Sustainable Salons team for the amazing work you do to protect our planet and for helping educate the next generation of hairdressers and barbers on the importance of making more sustainable choices every day 🌏
