There are three important stages:
✨Perimenopause
Hormone levels begin to fluctuate. Skin may become unpredictable, with sensitivity, dehydration, adult acne, redness or pigmentation.
✨Menopause
Menopause is confirmed after 12 months without a menstrual period. As oestrogen declines, dryness, fine lines, and loss of collagen and firmness may become more noticeable.
✨Perimenopause
Skin may become thinner, drier and more fragile. Some women also experience deeper lines, easier bruising and slower healing.
Every woman’s skin is different. Your skincare and professional treatments should be based on your skins current condition, barrier health and tolerance; not your age alone!
