Mastering monolithic zirconia is not about chasing trends. It’s about understanding what you are creating and why you are creating it.

When you truly know the material, its behaviour, its limits and its potential, the workflow becomes a consequence, not a guess. The right strategy, the right thickness management, the right surface texture and the right finishing protocol all start from knowledge.

Monolithic zirconia by Orodent is not just about strength. It’s about translating natural light, depth and texture into something believable.

Nature is not glossy.Nature is real.

Real teeth carry micro-textures, soft reflections, transitions and imperfections that create life. The goal is not to make restorations shine like plastic, but to make them disappear into reality.

This is where materials, technique and vision meet.

As we approach the next milestone for the Digital Dentistry Society, our vision extends beyond technology alone. True innovation in digital dentistry happens when clinical expertise and technical mastery evolve together.

Within DDS, I am actively committed to strengthening the global presence of dental technicians not simply as contributors, but as strategic partners in clinical decision-making and workflow development.

Digital transformation is not about software or machines; it is about structured communication, validated workflows, and shared responsibility for patient outcomes. By increasing the engagement of highly skilled dental technicians within DDS worldwide, we are:

• Enhancing interdisciplinary collaboration
• Standardising digital workflows
• Elevating the level of duty of care
• Building measurable, evidence-based protocols

The future of dentistry belongs to integrated teams. My mission within DDS is to ensure that dental technicians are recognised, represented, and fully embedded in the scientific and educational dialogue shaping that future.

Digital dentistry is not a trend. It is a structural evolution and it requires all of us at the table.

Digital dentistry must be explored to its furthest possible and feasible horizon.

I come from a generation that built smiles entirely by hand, carving wax, layering ceramics, casting alloys. We shaped the most exposed and expressive part of the human body through craftsmanship and discipline.

Then the market evolved and so did we.

Digital workflows are not a replacement for knowledge. They are an expansion of it.

I don’t believe in settling. The moment you settle, you stop growing mentally, psychologically, professionally.

Now it’s time to revisit what I already know, free from bias, and immerse myself in clinical data that can be recorded, analysed, and transformed into a deeper understanding.

Progress is not about abandoning the past.
It’s about integrating it and moving forward.

Over the past 12 years in the Australian dental field, my work has always been guided by one principle: putting patients first through close collaboration with dental professionals.

Working alongside clinicians and technicians has shown me that quality care is built on trust, communication, and shared expertise. Every case has reinforced the value of teamwork in achieving the best outcomes for patients.

Today, I take the next step by establishing my own business as a dental prosthetist—continuing to work hand in hand with professionals while delivering personalised, patient-centred care.

Proud of the journey so far and excited for what’s ahead.
