News update: The 30-minute time limit on haircuts has been lifted on Thursday morning.

The 30-minute restriction on haircuts has been lifted as the federal government tinkers with measures to slow the spread of coronavirus.

But the prime minister says the four square metre rule per person must be strictly followed by hairdressers and barbers, and personal contact during appointments must be minimised.

Obeying 4 squ metre rule
Also now obeying the new 30 min rule.
Colours and cuts will be broken into 2 separate appointments to concede with regulations.

UPDATE, I'VE COMPETED AN ONLINE COURSE WITH AUSTRALIAN GOVT DEPT OF HEALTH IN INFECTION CONTROL TRAINING - COVID 19.

One hairdresser.
Almost one client at a time.
At worst; one other client in salon... metres away.
Very private, very safe.
16 squ metre salon (4 squ metre rule easily taken care of)
35 squ metre waiting room
Washing facilities outside salon so you enter with germ free hands.
No French kissing, just air waves for now :)
Disposable gloves and Glen 20 spray placed conveniently around the salon etc. Please feel free to use as desired.
Reception, telephone, computer board, credit card reader, doorknobs etc. EVERYTHING SPRAYED regularly to keep everything as germ-free as possible.
If you feel unwell at all, just postpone your appointment until you feel well again; I will do likewise.
