Recently, Kiara and Blake teamed up with our local youth centre for a look-and-learn session, giving young people the opportunity to see what life in the barbering industry is really like.

The session included demonstrations, discussions, and some hands-on learning designed to inspire the next generation to consider a trade career in the hair industry.

We wanted to show that barbering is about much more than simply picking up a pair of scissors or clippers and having a go—there's skill, technique, creativity, communication, and plenty of training involved.

While a room full of 10–14 year olds was definitely more energetic than we expected, it was an incredibly rewarding experience.

A huge thank you to the youth centre for having us and to all the young people who participated. We loved sharing our passion for the trade and hope we inspired a few future barbers along the way. ✂️
