FIRST THINGS FIRST
Toners, Root shadows, Root melts, Glosses, Glazes are all the same fu***ng thing. They’re all Semi-Permanent.
Semi permanent are the perfect option, If you need to add shine, adjust the tone, improve the condition or blend out your colour if you can’t commit to a full/overhaul appointment.
Not every appointment has to break the bank sometimes it’s about the little tweaks that make the biggest difference.
Consider this your reminder that you don’t have to wait for a new year to feel different.
Change the colour. Cut the hair. Add the extensions. Finally book the appointment you’ve been thinking about for six months. Sometimes we put off the things that make us feel good because there are more important things to do first.
There will always be something more important, But there are only five months left of this year, You may as well spend them really fu***ng loving your hair.
Maybe the reason you love somewhere isn’t one big thing.
Maybe it’s a hundred little ones.
The way you’re welcomed in. The consultation where you actually feel heard. The massage you didn’t know you needed. The colour mixed specifically for you. The extra five minutes spent perfecting something most people would never notice. The quiet moments. The finishing touches. The feeling that nobody is rushing you out of the chair.
We think those things matter.
Because getting your hair done is an investment, but it’s also a few hours of your life and we want both to feel worth it. Beautiful, considered hair in a space where you can switch off, feel looked after and trust that the details are being taken care of.
You might not remember every little thing we did, But you’ll remember how it felt to be here.

We spend so much of our lives taking care of everyone else.
Partners.
Children.
Friends.
Clients.
Colleagues.
It’s easy to reach a point where you can’t remember the last time someone looked after you. Maybe that’s why hair appointments mean more than people realise, For a couple of hours, you don’t have to be the one holding everything together.
You simply get to be looked after.

Keratin smoothing: Let’s clear a few things up.
It’s one of the most misunderstood services we offer, so let’s bust some of the biggest myths.
“Will it make my hair completely straight?”
Not necessarily. A keratin smoothing treatment reduces frizz, softens texture and makes styling easier. If you have naturally wavy hair, you’ll still have movement. If you have curls, they’ll usually be softer and more manageable, not erased.
“Will it damage my hair?”
When performed correctly with a quality professional product, a keratin smoothing treatment is designed to improve the feel and manageability of the hair, not damage it.
“Will I lose all my volume?”
No. Your hair won’t suddenly become flat. You’ll simply lose a lot of the unwanted puffiness and frizz that creates the illusion of volume.
“How long does it last?”
Typically around 3–5 months, depending on your hair type, home care and how often you wash it. It gradually fades rather than growing out with a harsh line.
“Can I still curl my hair?”
Absolutely. Your hair can still be curled or styled. Most clients simply find it takes less time and holds its style better because the hair is smoother to begin with.
“Do I still need to style it?”
Usually, yes. A keratin smoothing treatment doesn’t mean you’ll wake up with salon hair every morning. It means your styling becomes faster, easier and the results last longer.
“Who is it best for?”
If your hair is frizzy, puffy, difficult to manage, reacts to humidity or takes forever to style, you’re probably an ideal candidate.
The biggest misconception? A keratin smoothing treatment isn’t about changing your hair. It’s about changing your relationship with your hair.
Less fighting it.
Less time styling it.
More good hair days.
Sometimes the break you need isn’t a holiday, It’s two hours where nobody expects anything from you.
No emails.
No notifications.
No rushing.
No pressure to be productive.
Just a quiet space where, for a little while, someone is looking after you instead of the other way around.
We often think self-care has to be extravagant But sometimes it’s as simple as giving yourself permission to slow down. To switch off. To sit still. To leave feeling a little lighter than when you arrived.
Beautiful hair is what we do. How you feel while you’re here is just as important.
Because the best appointments don’t just change how you look, They remind you what it feels like to finally exhale.

One of the biggest misconceptions about extensions? People think their hair has stopped growing.
In reality, your hair has probably grown exactly as it should, What’s changed is where the extensions now sit. The average person grows around 1–1.5cm of hair every month. Over eight weeks, that’s enough for your rows to naturally move further away from the scalp.
That’s why maintenance appointments exist.
Not because anything has gone wrong but because your hair has done exactly what it’s supposed to do. Good extensions aren’t designed to stay exactly where they were installed, They’re designed to move with your natural growth until it’s time to reset them.
Growth isn’t the problem. Ignoring maintenance is.

Healthy hair can still be frizzy.
Why your hair is frizzy… even when it’s healthy.
One of the biggest myths in haircare is that frizz automatically means damage.
It doesn’t.
Healthy hair can still be frizzy. Frizz simply means the hair cuticle isn’t sitting completely flat. That can happen for lots of reasons, even when the hair itself is in great condition.
Humidity is one of the biggest culprits. Hair naturally absorbs moisture from the air, causing the cuticle to lift and the strands to swell.
Natural texture also plays a role. Wavy, curly and even some straight hair types are simply more prone to frizz because of the way the hair grows from the follicle.
Then there’s porosity. Even healthy hair can have areas that are more porous than others, making it react differently to moisture and weather. This is why some people spend hundreds of dollars on treatments and masks expecting their frizz to disappear.
But if the cause isn’t damage, more moisture isn’t always the solution. Sometimes what your hair actually needs is cuticle control.
That’s where the right products, the right blow-drying technique and treatments like keratin smoothing can make such a difference. They’re not necessarily repairing damage. They’re helping the cuticle lie flatter, making the hair smoother, shinier and far more resistant to humidity.
Healthy hair and smooth hair aren’t always the same thing.
Understanding the difference is the first step to choosing the right solution instead of chasing the wrong problem.
