Bliss Beyond Health
Modern medicine doesn't hold all the answers - increasing rates of chronic illness, for profit, rather than patient well-being. Bio-hacking at its best.
A healthy diet and lifestyle are essential for true health. Let's work together to support healing and a vibrant life. Breaking down barriers and smashing the status quo as to what aging vivaciously is all about. Smashing things on the bucket list. Staying healthy, physically fit, confident and avoiding medical interventions. Choosing to navigate life naturally (maybe not easy or quick) with nutri

When I started looking deeper into insulin resistance and metabolic health, I realised how much more there is to the story than simply “eat less and exercise more.”
For me, understanding the science changed everything. THEN the pieces started to fall into place.
🌿 Salt can have a place in a healthy diet
🌿 Sugar can hide under many different names
🌿 Glycine is an essential amino acid
🌿 Collagen is about much more than vanity
🌿 Healthy fats are not the enemy
🌿 Protein needs to be replenished every day
🌿 One-size-fits-all approaches don’t work
🌿 Supporting our body’s natural repair processes matters
🌿 Electrolytes are important
🌿 Magnesium deserves a place at the table 👑
A big part of my approach has been supporting healthier blood sugar balance and reducing the constant blood sugar rollercoaster.
One of the products I personally use as part of my approach is Isagenix, particularly because it gives me a convenient way to support my protein and nutritional intake while being more intentional about what I’m putting into my body.
And the unexpected bonus?
I’ve lost 11kg along the way. Not through a crash diet or chasing a number on the scales, but as a natural progression of changing the way I approached my nutrition and metabolic health.
I’m one of those people who needs to know WHYYYYYY! 😂 Once I understand the science behind something, it becomes so much easier to make choices that actually make sense for me.
And here’s something worth knowing: you don’t need a diabetes diagnosis to start paying attention to your metabolic health.
Your body often gives you clues long before a diagnosis.
I’m certainly not suggesting one product or one approach is the answer for everyone. Blanket approaches don’t work. But understanding your own body, supporting good nutrition and making informed choices can be a powerful place to start.
If you’d like to understand more about what I’ve learned, what I use and how I’ve approached this, drop a 🔥 below or comment INFO and I’ll share more. 🌿

In 2018, I stood at the end of the Kokoda Track, exhausted, emotional, and incredibly proud.
Crossing that finish line felt like a huge achievement. Looking back now, I realise the real achievement wasn’t reaching the end. It was every decision I made before I got there.
Every training walk.
Every strength session.
Every early morning.
Every healthy meal.
Every blister that taught me resilience.
Every time I chose discipline over excuses.
Those small choices quietly built the person who was capable of taking on Kokoda.
I was recently inspired by the story of Dr. Art Ulene, who summited Mount Kilimanjaro on his 90th birthday.
He didn’t say, “Age is just a number.”
He said that aging is something we participate in.
That perspective really resonated with me.
It’s not about denying that we get older. It’s about recognising that every day we have a choice to influence how we age and what we’re still capable of doing.
That is why I’m so passionate about healthspan, strength, and longevity. I don’t want to simply add years to my life. I want to add life to my years.
Next year, my sights are set on Machu Picchu. 🏔️
I know that adventure won’t begin when I board the plane. It starts today, with every workout, every nourishing meal, every recovery session, and every decision to invest in my future self.
The destination is exciting.
But the greatest reward is becoming the person capable of getting there.
So here’s my question for you…
What are you preparing yourself for today? 💚
