Starting strong with a great base working with naturally long and healthy lashes. Even though we did a mega volume set we are going to work on going more full and sustainable, rather than overly long

My favourite part - the lash mapping 🪄 this is where my expertise really gets to come out. Shaping lashes to suit your individual eye shape to create a flawless lash look customised completely to you sets the whole tone of the end result. We went with a kitten eye, leaving the very very end lashes to prevent too much heaviness and dropping on the outer corners and keeping it real short on the inner corners always!

Whenever I’m working with lashes blessed from the heavens such as these (aka thick, long with multiple layers), I always love to lash in layers to preserve time and to keep stickies to an absolute minimum, which is especially important when doing a mega volume set. To do this I use a second eyepad directly over the top of the lashes, trace over the same mapping markings and then carefully reveal the very top layer of the lashes. It might feel or look a little crazy but trust that there is always a method to my madness 😝

After the top layer is done we section it off again by carefully keeping them taped up onto the eyelid to then reveal the bottom layer lashes only. This photo isn’t the absolute best to show how many natural lashes are still actually there but there was a significant amount which made it much easier to work with when the top layer is taped back. The left side is the top layer done and the right shows the bottom layer revealed with the top layer taped back. For the top layer alone this took around 1hr 30mins

Life between lashing ☕️🌼🎾

Our room got a little upgrade thanks to my aunty and uncles help. New furniture fixtures and lighting has definitely gone a long way. Adding more depth and warmth was the main goal and I think we’ve almost achieved it! a few more bits and pieces to be hung and then it’ll be complete

There’s still a few more lifestyle changes to adapt to and work around but overall, I’m always blessed and grateful for my little slice of life 💛
