Is anyone actually still using Facebook anymore.... serious question?

We still post on here as well as all our other social media platforms but we're wondering if this is a place where you still want to hear from local business....

For myself, I'm finding I come here less and less, it's a lot of ads and rage bait posts from The Daily Mail and the like and I feel the community and connection we all used to have here in the early days, got lost.

So we'd genuinely like to know.
Do you still like seeing local business posts on Facebook or have you moved to following and searching for them on other platforms?

It usually comes down to timing.

A really common mistake we see is clients growing their leg hair out for weeks before a holiday, thinking it’ll keep them smoother for longer, and we really wish that were the case but unfortunately that's the opposite of what you should do.

Instead, you’re much better off booking 2–3 appointments spaced out in the lead-up. This helps get your hair into a proper growth cycle.

Not all hair grows at the same time, some is above the skin, and some still underneath. If you only wax once, you’ll see regrowth 1–2 weeks later, which is just those underneath hairs coming through.

By keeping a consistent schedule, we’re able to catch both stages of growth, leaving your legs smoother for longer.

We're looking for a beauty therapist to join our little team at Brazilian Body Beaconsfield!

We're a waxing, brow, lash lift & spray tan salon, and yes, we do a lot of Brazilians and Brows.

This is a part-time or casual role to start, with room to grow as we do:
📅 Wednesday 3–8pm
📅 Thursday 3–8pm
📅 Friday 10–7pm
📅 Saturday 9–3pm

We'd love someone who…
💛 Is reliable, takes pride in their work & can hold it down solo when needed
💛 Thrives when it's busy
💛 Is genuinely excited to grow with a new salon
💛 Have lash lift or brow lami quals? Amazing, but not essential, we'll back the right person

For this role we do require someone with hands-on skills, so please only consider applying if you have in-salon experience.

Paid at Level 5 under the Hair & Beauty Industry Award, offered as casual or part-time, whichever suits you best.
