For this transformation, I used a 3x5 closure with 150g of 18” wefts in the colours Nightfall & Eclipse.

She couldn’t believe how light and comfortable the closure felt — and, best of all, she can finally tuck her hair behind her ears without that big, bulky lump! 🙌

The transformation is just beautiful, and seeing her confidence afterwards made it all worth it. 🥹✨

PART 1 CONSULT
My lovely client found me through Instagram and came to see me after already having a mesh system fitted. She absolutely loved the system, but felt it was a little too bulky and heavy for her.

This can sometimes happen when the closure is too large or too dense, which can make the hair look a little “wiggy” rather than completely natural.

For her, I chose a smaller closure with a lighter density, creating a much softer, more natural-looking result that feels lighter and blends beautifully with her own hair. 🤍

Now, don’t get me wrong — bigger closures absolutely have their place and can look amazing on the right client. It’s all about choosing the right size, density and style for the individual.

But sometimes… less is more. ✨

A little challenge today, and I absolutely loved it! 🤍

My lovely client came to see me wearing a clip-in topper, but she wanted something a little more semi-permanent. She asked if I could help... and if you know me, you’ll know I’m always up for a challenge! ✨

This was very different from the toppers I usually work with, especially the shape. I created a template, mapped it out to fit her head perfectly, carefully applied the beads following the shape, and stitched it all into place.

The result? She was absolutely over the moon! 🥹💕

She now has a beautiful, secure, semi-permanent solution that she doesn’t have to remove every night, giving her the confidence and convenience she was looking for.

Every client who sits in my chair has a different story, and today reminded me why I love what I do.

My young client came in for her maintenance appointment. She has trichotillomania, and unfortunately had pulled at the front of her hair, leaving a bald spot right along her hairline.

To create a secure foundation, I sewed a small piece of PU material onto the mesh and taped it down, allowing me to attach her closure safely and securely.

Working with mesh means thinking outside the box. No two clients are the same, and every situation requires a personalised approach. This is why becoming a true mesh specialist takes years of hands-on experience—not just a few months.

I’m constantly learning from every client and every challenge that comes my way. My goal has always been to find a solution, because I never want to tell someone, “I’m sorry, I can’t help you.”

When this shade first arrived, I was in two minds about it because I didn’t have many clients with naturally ashy hair. But as soon as my client walked in, I instantly thought, this colour couldn’t be more perfect for you! ✨
We used 50g of 22” extensions, which was the perfect amount for her natural hair to hold comfortably and safely—giving her beautiful length without feeling too heavy or causing unnecessary stress to her hair.
I’m absolutely obsessed with how seamlessly it blended! 😍
