At Alive Health, we offer a range of expert services to support your overall health and vitality. Alive Health began as Spine Alive in 2006.

Discover personalized care and effective solutions for your spine and overall well-being at Alive Health! We were a single practitioner chiropractic clinic. Chiropractor and owner Alison Bennett had a vision to create a clinic which would be the most sought-after clinic for health and well-being. In creating this vision, she has brought together some amazing practitioners from diverse health care fields. Along with chiropractic services from Alison Bennett the clinic has the following services; Remedial Massage Therapy and dry needling with Anthony Middlemass of Feel Amazing Wellness; Counselling with Penelope Hamilton; Naturopathy & Massage with Vicky Gascoyne; Non- Surgical Cosmetic Medicine from the Zecca team; Holistic Facialist & Women's Life Coach - Amy Erbacher. In 2019 we welcomed Ward Nutrition with dietitians Claire Ward and her associates Marley and Dylan. The building Alive Health is located in is a beautiful federation looking house that is beautifully appointed to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you approach the clinic.

Your spine is with you for life. πŸ’™

But how often do you really think about looking after it?

We rely on our spine every day. Sitting, standing, working, exercising, driving and simply getting on with life all involve movement.

And when it comes to looking after your spine, there’s more to think about. πŸ‘€

It’s not just about what you do when something hurts. Everyday habits matter too.

🚢 Move regularly
πŸͺ‘ Change positions throughout your day
πŸ’» Break up long periods of sitting
πŸ’™ Pay attention to stiffness, tension or changes in how your body feels

This World Spine Day, take a moment to check in with yourself.

πŸ’ How well are you looking after your spine?

If stiffness, discomfort or changes in movement keep showing up, don’t simply put up with them.

πŸ‘‰ Make your spine a priority. Book an appointment with the team at Alive Health and give your body the attention it deserves.

Your body might say otherwise.

πŸ”„ Changes in how freely or comfortably you move

Small habits throughout your day can make a difference.

🚢 Move regularly
πŸ”„ Change positions
πŸ’™ Pay attention to how your body feels

So, how is your body feeling after a day at work?

Save this as your reminder to move. πŸ”–

And if your body keeps telling you something doesn’t feel right, there may be more to think about.

One thing we wish more people did at work? πŸ‘€

Change position.

Whether you spend your day sitting at a desk, standing or moving between the two, staying in the same position for long periods can leave your body feeling stiff and uncomfortable.

Try breaking up your workday with simple changes:

πŸͺ‘ Sit
🧍 Stand
πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ Walk
πŸ” Repeat

Small movement breaks can add up across your day.

πŸ’ When did you last get up and move?

If stiffness, tension or discomfort is becoming a regular part of your workday, don’t keep putting it off.

πŸ‘‰ Ready to give your body some attention? Book an appointment with the team at Alive Health.

01/10/2026

πŸŽ‰ Happy 50th Birthday to our amazing boss, Alison! πŸŽ‰
On this special day, we're throwing it back to where it all began… 1976! Buckle up, because it was a wild year!
Down Under in Orange, NSW: Mayor Ron Thomas was steering the ship, and the Orange Civic Centre officially opened its doors – talk about progress! Meanwhile, the nation was being led by Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser and NSW Premier Neville Wran.
Globally, 1976 was a year of icons and innovation: The charts were all about ABBA – you can bet your dancing shoes they were the soundtrack to many a birthday party back then! πŸ•ΊπŸ’ƒ
Concorde took to the skies, proving that supersonic travel was no longer just a dream.
Australia was glued to the iconic TV series The Sullivans, a true classic! In the movies, Rocky was punching its way to Best Picture at the Oscars, and Jack Nicholson was a Best Actor winner for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
The Montreal Olympics saw a perfect 10 from Nadia Comăneci! (And yes, Bruce Jenner was winning gold!)
And in the world of tech and culture: The seeds of Microsoft and Apple were being sown, preparing to change the world as we know it.
"I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor was released: An anthem! The S*x Pistols signed with EMI, kicking off a punk rock revolution!
Meanwhile, Medibank Private was established in Australia, marking a significant step in healthcare.
So, Alison, from the days of ABBA, Concorde, and the birth of tech giants, to the local leadership of Orange, you've navigated it all with style! We're so grateful for your leadership, your humour, and your dedication. Here's to celebrating 50 incredible years and many more to come! We hope your birthday is as legendary as 1976! πŸŽ‚
