Pricing is a funny one because no one really wants to talk about it properly.
But the reality is, a big colour service costs a lot to do.
Product, time, staff, rent, education, all of it.
And you can be booked out every week and still look at the end of the month like…where did it go?
That’s usually when the price isn’t right.
The formula behind this look.
Starting point was 6 months regrowth, old highlights and multiple artificial colour applications.
20 vol through the highlights.
10 vol around the face frame.
40 vol tip out where we needed the extra push.
Then softened it all back down with CØR colour through the roots and ends, plus a global gloss to pull it together.

Social media has added a whole other layer to hairdressing.
You’re trying to do good work, stay on time, keep the client happy, remember the formula, get the before photo, film the process, get the after in the right light, edit the reel, write the caption and post consistently.
I think a lot of hairdressers are feeling this way at the moment, the pressure to not just do the job well, but to also turn the job into content every single time.

Depth did a lot of the work here.
We kept the front bright, brought the lowlight down through the mids and left enough natural through the back so the blonde actually had something to sit against.
Not every blonde needs more foils, sometimes it just needs better placement and working with the natural base more.
