Oily, congested, dull, textured? Joanna had a few questions before she tried our Refreshing Basil-Rosemary Cleansing Oil.

Annod was born in a holistic beauty salon, and every product is formulated by our founder, a beauty therapist with over 30 years' experience who knows how skin works and why it reacts the way it does.

Your skin is an extension of you. Care for it that way.

Life is busy, and stress is part of most of our days.
When did you last take a moment just for you?

Your nighttime cleanse can be that moment.
Slow down, use your hands, and massage your face with firm, comfortable pressure. Many of us carry tension in our jaw, brow and around the eyes without realising.

Our Refreshing Basil-Rosemary Cleansing Oil turns your nighttime cleanse into a ritual you'll look forward to, through touch, scent and a little quiet.

Have you tried it?

The exfoliating routine I give every salon client.

After 30 years as a beauty therapist, here's what I tell everyone: exfoliate once a week, and pick the same day each week so it becomes a habit.

Cleanse first and make sure every trace of cleanser is gone. Then use a gentle manual exfoliant, at night or in the morning, as long as the skin is clean. Your makeup sits better, and your skin looks healthy and glowing.

Ours is made with natural almond meal, not ground-up nutshell. Shop it here: https://www.annod.com.au/product-category/exfoliators/

Missed Thursday's video? I show how to use it around the eyes and lips there.

Which day will you pick?

Dead skin can make your lines look deeper.

After 30 years in my salon, this is how I exfoliate the eyes and lips: a wrinkle is really a crease, and dead skin cell buildup makes the lines look deeper.
Hold the lines gently open, then use small circles to polish those cells away by hand. With the right exfoliant, the appearance of those lines softens.

Work around the sides of the eyes, then through the middle and across the lips. Our Organic Exfoliants are gentle enough for these areas, made with natural almond meal and no ground-up nutshell.

Most women skip exfoliating because they've never found the right product.

After 30 years as a beauty therapist, I made ours with natural almond meal, not ground-up nutshell, coffe granules, salt or sugar. Add a little water, mix it to a paste in your palm and massage it gently over your face.

Every drop counts β€” and I mean that literally.

After more than 30 years as a beauty therapist, I've learned that almost every skin concern comes back to one of two things: it needs hydration, or it needs oil to find its balance. That's the first thing I look for with a client, and it's the same question I ask before a single drop goes into any Annod formula.

This is what boutique batching actually looks like β€” measured, considered, made in small runs here in Australia.

Tell me your skin & I'll tell you your ritual.

A small thing, but it's the kind of detail that tells you a lot β€” she's now got Annod sitting out on her bathroom shelf, not tucked away in a drawer.

It's a nice moment in her week with the range, and it's leading somewhere β€” she's about to tell us what she's noticed after using everything together. Watch what she notices ...

Before Annod was a skincare range, it was treatments used in a working beauty salon β€” formulated by a beauty therapist with over 30 years behind the chair, not a lab team guessing what mature skin needs.

That's the standard she's realising in this video: salon-grade ingredients, made in Australia in small boutique batches, nothing that wouldn't hold up under a professional's eye.

Follow along for the rest of her week with the range.

We handed Karen a content creator our full range and asked for total honesty β€” no script, no filters, just her real reaction over the course of a week. She's going in with the same question a lot of you probably have: does an Australian, small-batch skincare brand actually make a difference?

This is where she starts. Over the next few posts you'll see exactly what she thought of each product β€” the good, the not-so-sure, all of it.
Follow along to see how her skin looks after a week of the ritual.

Why I packed this kit for my girls weekend.

Air conditioning, late nights, rich food, a few too many bubbles β€” I know exactly what a weekend like that does to my skin, so I made sure it was ready before we even left.

Hydrating Jojoba Cleanser β€” gentle enough to cleanse without stripping, even after a full day of makeup and sun.
Anti-Aging Papaya Enzyme β€” I double-applied this one the whole weekend to keep my skin looking bright and toned.
Moisturising Rose Face Oil β€” evening primrose and borage oil locked in the moisture my skin needed to fight back against the AC and the alcohol.

Three products, one hydrated, happy face β€” no matter what the weekend throws at it. πŸ’›
