A little update 🤍
Unfortunately, I’ve tested positive for Influenza A (and it’s absolutely kicking my bum) so I’ll be taking the rest of this week off to properly rest and recover.
I absolutely hate having to reschedule clients, but I also don’t want to risk passing this on to anyone or push myself and end up taking even longer to recover.
I’ll be back in the salon from Wednesday next week and will be in touch with anyone affected by my time off to organise new appointments.
Or alternatively you can reschedule through the link below 👇

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding while I take a few days to get myself better. 🤍

👀
A moment where nothing is required of you. 🤎
No rushing, no decisions, no to-do list.
Just warmth, slow touch and permission to completely switch off.

The REM Ritual
A deeply calming ritual designed to quiet the mind, soften the body and guide you into a state of complete relaxation.
The REM Ritual begins with gentle, calming touches to help you settle into stillness, followed by a deeply restorative facial with soothing facial massage. Your hands and feet are then treated to slow, relaxing massage before drifting into a dry head spa designed to melt away tension and quieten busy thoughts.
As the ritual comes to an end, delicate soft-touch techniques leave you floating somewhere between awake and asleep.
A space to switch off.
To breathe deeper.
To let your thoughts become quiet.
Come in tired.
Leave somewhere between a dream and reality.

✨ A little salon update + looking ahead to 2027 ✨
Firstly, a little reminder that Christmas appointments are already booking up quickly!🎄
If you’re hoping to get in before Christmas, I highly recommend getting your appointments organised now so you don’t miss out.
Heading into 2027, there are going to be a few little changes around here 🤎
My new opening hours will be:
Wednesday — Friday | 9am–8pm
Saturday | 9am–5pm
I’m also taking myself on quite a few adventures next year ✈️ (because apparently I’ve caught the travel bug 😂), which means there will be periods throughout the year where appointments are a little harder to come by. If you have particular dates, events or regular appointments you know you’ll need, I’d definitely recommend booking well in advance.
There will also be a small price adjustment heading into 2027. My EFTPOS provider is changing the way card processing fees are handled, meaning the surcharge will no longer be automatically added at checkout. Because of this, the fee will instead be incorporated into my service pricing.
This means you’ll notice a slight increase across services, but no additional EFTPOS surcharge will be added when you pay. 🤎
As always, thank you SO much for continuing to keep my little salon busy and allowing me to do what I love. I’m very excited for everything 2027 has in store — both inside and outside the salon. 🤎
And for now… please get those Christmas appointments booked! 🎄✨

Moral of the story, trust your gut 😉
I can’t believe it’s been nearly 2 years since I turned this old butcher shop into my dream salon 🥹
Looking back at where it started compared to what it is now will never get old.
So many renovations, late nights, questionable decisions, “what have I gotten myself into” moments… and somehow, piece by piece, it became RKM.
Nearly two years of creating, changing, learning and making this space feel more and more like me.
And something tells me she’s still not finished yet 👀🔨
