A thread lift is not a facelift. Dr Maria on the difference, and why it matters.
Threads are placed under the skin to lift and support tissue. The effect is real, and it is temporary. Nothing is removed. Bone is not changed. It will not do what surgery does, and any clinic suggesting otherwise is doing you a disservice.
What it can do is lift the tissue, and with some threads, give your own collagen a stimulus to work with.
Whether it suits you depends on your face, your tissue and what you are actually hoping for. That is an assessment, not a menu choice, which is why this one starts with a consultation and a proper look, every time.
Individual results may vary.

A Skin Peel is not skin being stripped away. It is old, tired surface being persuaded to move on.
The dull top layer of skin is made largely of cells that have finished their job. A peel uses a considered blend of acids to loosen and lift that built-up layer in a controlled way, so the fresher, more even skin underneath can come through.
The strength is chosen for your skin and what you want from it, brightness, texture, tone or refinement, and that is decided at the consultation, not at the appointment. Too gentle does little. Too strong on the wrong skin causes trouble. The judgement is the treatment.
Controlled renewal, designed to refresh rather than to strip ✨

No pump. Nothing flushed out of you. Just fluid encouraged along routes it already uses 🌿
Real, and temporary. That is the honest version, and it is the only one worth having.

Skin has a framework and a spring. Knowing which is which changes how you think about ageing.
Collagen is the framework. It is the most abundant protein in skin, and it provides the structure and firmness that keep a face looking supported. There is a lot of it, and it is what most firming treatments aim to rebuild.
Elastin is the spring. It is what lets skin stretch and then settle back into place. There is far less of it, and crucially, the body barely makes new elastin in adulthood. Once it is damaged, mostly by sun, it does not readily come back.
This is why protection matters so much. You can support collagen at almost any age. Elastin you largely have to look after, because you do not get a second batch.
Build the framework. Protect the spring.

Almost nobody asks to look twenty. What they describe is a distance — between how at ease they feel now, and what the mirror gives back.
Ordinary physics, and not a problem with you.

Pore size appearance and rough texture do not change with skincare alone. They change with structure. That is where needling comes in.
Fine channels made in the skin set off a repair response, and that response builds new collagen in the layer beneath the surface. Over a planned series, that firmer, better-supported layer is what refines the look of pores and smooths uneven texture from below, rather than just polishing the top ✨
It works best as a course, not a one-off, which is exactly how our Good Skin Days plan is built, needling sessions followed by a finishing peel and LED, with a skin plan to keep it going between visits.
Structure first. The surface follows.

Buccal. It is not a brand and it is not a trend word. It just means "of the cheek", from the Latin bucca.
So Buccal Sculpt & Release is, quite literally, cheek work. Part of it is done from the outside, through the cheeks, jaw, neck and decolletage. Part of it is done from inside the mouth, which is the only way to reach the deeper muscles of the cheek and jaw directly ✨
That is the entire reason the word is there. Not because it sounds clinical, but because it describes where the hands go.
If the name has been putting you off, it was only ever anatomy.

If redness or the marks left by old breakouts sound familiar, azelaic acid is worth knowing about.
It occurs naturally in grains, and it is one of the few ingredients that works on several things at once. It calms the redness and flushing behind conditions like rosacea. It helps fade the dark marks left behind by old breakouts. And it gently discourages the bacteria and congestion that drive spots in the first place 🌿
The best part is how well tolerated it is. It suits sensitive and reactive skin that finds stronger actives too much, and it is one of the options considered safe to keep using through pregnancy, which few active ingredients are.
Gentle, multi-tasking, underrated. Sometimes the calm ingredient is the clever one.

Needle-free. And the thing doing the work? A freshwater sponge 🌿
What SQT actually does:
✨ Renewal — thousands of tiny microchannels across the surface, so your skin gets on with refreshing itself
✨ Delivery — those channels stay open, so the serums we apply during the treatment reach past the surface instead of sitting on top of it
✨ No needle — which is why it suits reactive skin, and anyone who would never book the needle version
Two jobs. One treatment. The second one is why it is on our menu.
