Because sometimes, it’s the details that make the difference.

In my 20s and 30s, most of my treatments were about glow, texture, pigmentation and keeping my skin looking fresh.

In my 40s, my concerns have changed.

What I’m noticing now is more loss of elasticity and that feeling of my face starting to drop — particularly through the lower face, underneath my jaw and around my chin.

This is why I’m having HIFU focused on the lower half of my face.

HIFU uses focused ultrasound energy at specific depths beneath the skin to create controlled thermal points, stimulating a wound-healing response and new collagen production. The goal isn’t to change the way my face looks — it’s to support, firm and tighten the areas where I’m starting to see laxity.

And that’s probably the biggest change in how I treat my skin now. The treatments I loved in my 20s and 30s still have their place, but in my 40s I’m thinking much more about collagen, structure and supporting the skin as it ages.
