My blak queen 🖤
My mum faced a world that told her our people don’t build, don’t succeed, don’t belong in business. I’ve heard the same stereotypes growing up. Different generation, same fight.
Yalana is my answer to that. Every bottle, every market stall, every late night - it’s for my family, for my mum standing beside me, and for our people. Proof that we build, we create, we thrive.
A portion of what we make goes to Change the Record Australia’s only national Aboriginal-led justice coalition, working to end the over-incarceration of our young people and family violence in our communities, and to build a future where our mob is self-determined, strong in culture, and thriving.
This is for my mum. This is for my people. This is Yalana.
