Grey Blending - Swipe for before
How I approach grey blending depends on the canvas that I'm working on, how much grey they've currently got in their hair, and what the desired end result is. Taking into consideration the time frame, budget, and realistic outcomes while keeping the integrity of the hair.
The most important thing with grey blending, I feel, is to work with the current base that you've got. If you're lucky enough to have a client like the one pictured here who has a good amount of grey growing out, the most important thing is to not touch that with artificial colour. It's never going to be no maintenance with an artificial grey colour, It's just going to be a lot less maintenance than you've currently got, with the goal to eventually stop colouring your hair altogether.
There are lots of different options in between this. If you don't want to go as extreme as going fully grey but your greys are getting a bit out of control and you want options, the best thing I could recommend doing is to book a consultation to chat options with your hairdresser.
This is because everyone's hair care plan varies so differently depending on the base that you're starting with and your goals and they can tailor a plan to suit you. Link in bio for consultations and bookings 🫶
