Just a non threatening notice that I'm joining the "Eff the banks" (sorry Justin 😅) movement that's currently trending among business owners.

As you may have seen, as of October 1st, businesses can no longer pass on the card surcharge to their customers.

This surcharge was never more money in the bank for the business owner, it's the banks that take a percentage of every card transaction.

Whilst I have been absorbing this cost for years, I absolutely love the idea of not giving the bank more of my money. 😄

As a (micro) business owner, it often feels like you're the last person to put any money into your own pocket after everyone takes their piece of the pie 🥧

So moving forward, I HIGHLY encourage you to pay via cash, bank transfer or PayID. Cards will still be accepted - always have, always will.

Don't stress about needing to have the exact cash amount. I always carry change.

Afternoon appointments are limited. There are only a handful remaining in 2026. Absolutely no late afternoon appointments are available at the end of October or throughout November, in fact, November is booked out — and Christmas week is completely booked while we’re at it.

If you haven’t made an appointment online, via DM or in studio, please don’t leave it until the last minute expecting me to magically find you a spot. It won't happen. But you can go on the cancellation list.

If you need to reschedule during peak periods (afternoons and around holidays), you are probably forfeiting your appointment.

If you’re able to come earlier in the day, I highly recommend it.

And while I’m being rage baited… please show up to your appointment on time.

I didn’t survive cancer for this kinda stress.
