Consider this your reminder to stop treating tension like a permanent resident ✨✨✨
That tight neck.
Those shoulders that somehow live permanently up around your ears.
The lower back you’ve learnt to ignore.
The jaw you didn’t realise you were clenching.
Your body is constantly adapting to how you move, work, train, stress and rest.
Massage isn’t about “fixing” your body — it’s about giving it some time, attention and space to let go.
You don’t have to wait until something really hurts before you take care of it.
Sometimes proactive bodywork is simply a way of checking in, easing built-up tension and feeling a little more comfortable in the body you live in every day ✨❤️
Your body is worth looking after before it starts shouting

A little chat about my cancellation policy… ✨❤️
I totally get it — life happens.
Kids get sick. Work changes. Plans pop up. Sometimes you wake up and realise your body has decided absolutely not today.
I’m human. I get it ❤️
But here’s the thing…
When you book an appointment with me, I’m setting aside that specific time just for you.
I’m self-employed, which means I don’t have a boss paying me when an appointment disappears from my day. I don’t have people sitting in a waiting room ready to jump into your spot at 2pm.
If you cancel at the last minute, that time is usually impossible for me to fill — and that is income I lose.
And this isn’t unique to massage therapists.
Airlines have cancellation and change fees. Hotels have cancellation policies. Doctors, dentists, physios and other appointment-based businesses commonly have fees for late cancellations and missed appointments.
Because once that time has been reserved for you, it belongs to your booking.
My cancellation policy is:
❤️ More than 24 hours’ notice — no fee
❤️ Less than 24 hours’ notice — 50% of your treatment fee
❤️ Same-day cancellation or no-show — 100% of your treatment fee
And yes, I will always use common sense when something genuinely unexpected or serious happens. I’m not here to make anyone feel worse about an already crappy situation.
But I also need to protect my business.
If my cancellation policy feels unreasonable or you don’t feel comfortable agreeing to it, that’s absolutely okay — but we probably aren’t the right professional match.
There are plenty of massage therapists out there, and I genuinely believe you should find someone whose policies work for you.
For me, respecting each other’s time is part of having a good professional relationship.
You respect my time, I respect yours. Simple ❤️
And thank you to the overwhelming majority of you who are bloody brilliant about this. I appreciate you more than you know ✨❤️

Massage is about more than simply feeling relaxed ✨❤️
It can support your nervous system, ease tension, reduce the perception of pain and help your body move and feel better
Regular treatments are less about fixing problems when they arise, and more about proactively caring for your body, noticing patterns and staying connected to how you feel
Your body is the only place you have to live
Make looking after it part of your lifestyle ✨❤️

A new chapter begins ✨💛🧡💛
Next week I officially start my journey as a Pilates instructor, and I’m so excited once again to be sharing movement with others.
While I’m new to teaching Pilates, coaching isn’t new to me. I previously worked as a personal trainer, and I am a practising massage therapist, so helping people move better, feel stronger, and understand their bodies has been at the heart of my career for years.
I’m looking forward to continuing to learn, grow, and build my confidence as an instructor, while creating a supportive space where everyone feels welcome…no matter where they’re starting.
Here’s to new beginnings and the exciting journey ahead ✨✨✨

Things people secretly worry about during a massage session…
Unshaven legs, dry skin, stretch marks, or scars — completely normal. Your body is welcome exactly as it is.
Falling asleep or even snoring — it just means your nervous system feels safe enough to fully relax.
Talking the whole time or saying nothing at all — this is your space. Whether you need connection or quiet, I’ll meet you there.
Cold or sensitive feet — this is so common. I adjust pressure and use techniques to keep everything comfortable and therapeutic.
Feeling emotional — sometimes the body releases more than just physical tension. That’s always safe and supported here.
Arriving stressed, tired, or overwhelmed — you don’t need to have it all together. This is where you come to soften, release, and reset.
What I do care about:
✨Your comfort
✨Your safety
✨Your boundaries
✨Helping you feel better in your body
Massage isn’t about how you look — it’s about how you feel.
This is your time. No judgement, no expectations… just care ❤️❤️
