Have you seen the posts claiming “Ozempic causes collagen loss”? Let’s clear up the confusion.

The current evidence does NOT show that GLP-1 medications (such as Ozempic, Wegovy or Mounjaro) directly destroy collagen.

What they DO do is help people lose weight. When weight loss happens quickly, we don’t just lose fat from our waistline—we can also lose fat from our face.
