The heart remembers what the mind has forgotten🤍
✨You’re invited to Echoes of the Heart ✨
A soulful candlelit journey of ceremonial cacao, Himalayan breathwork, meditation with intuitive Reiki, and sound healing, created to help you gently open, drop deeper into yourself, and connect with your inner wisdom.
Through conscious breath, intentional breath holds, sound and supported touch (with consent), we’ll move stuck energy and release stored emotions - journeying from the conscious into the subconscious, where old patterns soften and the heart and mind begin to work together again.
When we pause, breathe, and drop into the heart, something truly beautiful happens.
May this be the afternoon you slow down enough to hear the quiet whispers of your heart….
🤍 Sunday 13th September, 3:30–6:30pm
🤍 Awake, Banksmeadow
🤍 Intimate circle - limited spaces

We rarely notice our breath until it changes.
When we’re anxious...
our breath changes.
When we’re overwhelmed...
our breath changes.
When we’re rushing...
our breath changes.
And after a while, we stop noticing that we’re holding it altogether.
The beautiful thing is...
Your body never stops trying to keep you alive.
Even when you forget to breathe deeply.
Even when life feels heavy.
Even when you’re running on empty.
It quietly adapts.
Compensates.
Carries on.
Maybe today is simply an invitation to pause long enough to notice.
How are you breathing right now?

This is something I wish someone had told me years ago.
The body whispers before it screams.
Before I experienced chronic insomnia, my body was already communicating with me.
Through tension.
Through shallow breathing.
Through feeling constantly “wired.”
Through never truly switching off.
I just didn’t know how to listen.
So I did what many of us do.
I pushed through.
Until eventually...
my body spoke louder.
One of the greatest gifts breathwork has given me isn’t just better regulation.
It’s the ability to hear the whispers again.
To notice when I’m holding tension.
To notice when I’m moving too fast.
To notice when my nervous system is asking for something different.
The body is always communicating.
The question is...
Are we listening?
🤍
Journal Prompt for you today
What has your body been trying to tell you lately?

If I could sit down with every person who’s ever been curious about breathwork, these are the things I’d want them to know.
For years, I thought healing had to be complicated.
More supplements.
More protocols.
More searching.
What changed my life wasn’t adding more.
It was learning to work with the one thing I’d been doing every moment of every day...
My breath.
Breathwork isn’t about forcing an experience.
It’s about creating the conditions for your nervous system to soften, your body to regulate and your mind to become clear.
Whether you’re brand new to breathwork or have been practising for years, I hope this reminds you that there is no “perfect” way to experience it.
Your body has its own wisdom.
Your breath simply helps you listen.
✨ Save this for later.
🤍 Share it with someone who’s curious about breathwork.

The first time I came to Bali, I noticed something I hadn’t felt in a very long time.
Nobody seemed to be rushing.
People still worked.
They still had responsibilities.
Life was still happening.
But there was a different relationship with time.
The days felt slower.
The ceremonies reminded me to be present.
The offerings weren’t just traditions they were daily moments of gratitude, intention and connection.
Somewhere between the jungle, the rituals and the pace of life, I felt my shoulders drop.
I took a deeper breath without even thinking about it.
And I remember wondering…
Why does my body feel so different here? ☁️
That question stayed with me long after I returned home.
It’s one of the reasons I keep coming back.
And it’s one of the reasons The Sacred Exhale was always meant to be held here.
I’ll share more about that tonight. 🤍

Your problem isn’t your bed. Or your phone. Or even your thoughts.
It’s your nervous system stuck in survival mode.
When your body is chronically dysregulated, it can’t tell the difference between a work deadline and a lion chasing you. So it keeps you alert. Keeps you wired. Just in case.
This is called a dysregulated nervous system. And it’s incredibly common in high performers, overthinkers, and people who’ve been “pushing through” for years.
Sleep isn’t just a behaviour. It’s a physiological state your body has to feel SAFE enough to enter.
That’s why no sleep hygiene tip will fix it at the root.
You have to regulate first. Then rest follows.
This is what I teach. And it’s what changed everything for me after 18 years of insomnia.
