Aika balms are waterless, making them 100% pure, potent skin medicine. A normal cream can be as much as 80% water. And then you have to factor in the emulsifiers and thickeners that are included to make the cream formula, as well as preservatives that can have undesirable side effects. The vast majority of ingredients in a conventional cream do not contribute towards skin health at all.

USING A BALM
Balms are concentrated, so a little goes a long way:
A vital first step is to generously mist skin with your favorite Tonic. Balms should always be applied to damp skin.

Use just ¼ pea-sized amount and warm between fingertips.
Press into damp skin and massage gently.

TOO MUCH BALM?
If you’re used to creams, it may take a moment to adjust Balms deliver more concentrated nourishment and protection than a cream in a more powerful, undiluted form. If your Balm isn’t absorbing, you’ve likely applied too much. When used correctly, our Balms melts right in, leaving skin soft, luminous, and instantly vibrant.

Do you know what you DON’T get in Aika moisturiser balms? Ingredients that DAMAGE your skin - preservatives, emulsifying agents, fattening agents, alcohol compounds, PEG compounds, silicones, synthetic compounds, synthetic perfumes, colouring agents.
