During our recent visit to Tokyo, we had the privilege of visiting Takara Belmont Japan, where Mr. Daisuke Nakamura, Section Manager at Takara Belmont Japan, kindly welcomed us for a private tour of their latest innovations in Japanese Head Spa technology.
Together with SSM Manager Marina, we explored advanced equipment, experienced the newest automated scalp cleansing system, and discovered exciting developments for the iconic YUME shampoo system.
Every visit to Japan is an opportunity to learn directly from the innovators shaping our industry. My goal is simple: to continually refine and elevate the experience we offer at Hair Spa Melbourne.

A beautiful full-circle moment… 🇯🇵
Some moments simply can’t be planned.
Last week Mr. Daisuke Nakamura, Section Manager of Takara Belmont Japan surprised me (as usual) with a visit to Hair Spa Melbourne while he was in Melbourne.
What made the moment even more special was that my long-term client, Yukiko, happened to be having her appointment at exactly the same time.
Seven years ago, Yukiko introduced me to Takara Belmont. She believed in my vision long before Hair Spa Melbourne existed and helped me take the very first steps towards making my dream a reality.
Seeing the two of them meet in my salon felt like everything had come full circle.
Last year, Mr Dai experienced our Malibu Scalp Treatment as a client. His reaction is something I’ll never forget. He was completely speechless by the results, and hearing such positive feedback from someone with his knowledge of the industry meant so much to me.
