Day 2 hair doesn’t always need another pass with the irons. 🙅🏼♀️
Instead, I use a round brush and blow dryer on dry hair to bring back shape, volume, and movement without starting from scratch.
✨ It helps refresh your style.
✨ Adds body where it’s fallen flat.
✨ Keeps your hair looking polished for longer.
If your blowout never seems to last, give this a try before reaching for the iron.
Have you ever tried restyling your hair this way? Let me know below! 👇

One of the biggest myths I hear is that balayage doesn’t lift or that it’s only for subtle results.
I could not disagree more.
Balayage isn’t limited by the technique, it’s limited by your application.
When you understand the foundations of freehand painting, you can create bright, high-impact colours.
✨ More saturation = more lift.
If you’re not saturating enough, you’ll never maximise your lift.
It’s one of the biggest mistakes I see, and one of the biggest reasons stylists think balayage doesn’t work.
Master the foundations, and you’ll change your results.

Hello again, I’m Crys 👋
As much as I love everything hair, over the last 16 years I’ve learnt that the best version of me isn’t just found behind the chair.
Hairdressing will always be my passion, but these days I love doing other things too.
You’ll usually find me walking my dog, grabbing a good coffee, planning a trip home to Canada to see my family and friends, or heading out for a concert or dinner.
Because while I pour my heart into creating beautiful hair, I’ve learnt that having a life outside the salon is equally important.
I’d love to get to know you too! Tell me something about yourself in the comments, or let me know what we have in common. 🤍
The voices never really stop 😂🤪
