After five years, I finally feel ready to share who I am.

My name is Fulya, the proud owner and maker behind Soil and Earth Co., established in 2020. This journey has been shaped by courage, creativity, and some of the most defining moments of my life.

Three years ago, I lost my mum — the heart of my world. That loss changed me deeply. It took time, healing, and strength to step forward and finally introduce the person behind the brand. Soil and Earth Co. became more than a business; it became a space where I poured my grief, my passion, and my purpose.

I come from a background in Interior Decoration and Design, and I’ve always been drawn to colour, texture, balance, and the atmosphere of a beautifully curated space. Candles naturally became a way for me to express that love — blending design, emotion, and scent into something meaningful.

I am also a wife to my loving husband, and a mum to two beautiful children — a 24-year-old daughter and a 19-year-old son — who inspire me every single day. My family is my anchor and the reason I continue to grow, create, and follow my passions.

Every candle I make in my Melbourne studio is shaped by these experiences — by resilience, creativity, and the quiet moments that remind us of home. Soil and Earth Co. reflects everything I value: beauty, simplicity, craftsmanship, and heart.
