A consultation is about understanding your face before making decisions about it.
It's where Emily takes the time to assess your anatomy, facial proportions, movement and skin quality, while getting to know your concerns, medical history and aesthetic goals.
It's also where we discuss what's realistic, explore appropriate options, explain potential risks and determine whether treatment is suitable for you.
And sometimes? The recommendation is to do nothing at all.
Because a consultation isn't a commitment to treatment. It's an opportunity to make an informed decision. That's what consultations are for.

A true privilege to spend today at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Melbourne, attending a cadaver anatomy dissection workshop led by one of my favourite professional mentors, Dr Lucas de Siqueira.
An invaluable opportunity to deepen our anatomical knowledge and refine our understanding of safe, precise aesthetic injecting.
So much gratitude for those who selflessly donate their bodies to science. Their extraordinary gift allows us to continue learning, refining our skills, re-enforcing how each injection point deserves our utmost anatomical precision.
Even more special to share the experience alongside some dear friends Nurse Alysha Eluminate | Nurse Practitioner - Aesthetic & Women’s Health ❤️
Thank you Dr Lucas de Siqueira | LDS Cosmetic Medicine- You are amazing.

Meet Emily, the practitioner behind Evolve Aesthetics.
With a background in critical-care nursing and advanced training in aesthetics, Emily brings a clinical, considered approach to every consultation.
Her work is grounded in understanding facial anatomy, assessing the individual and making thoughtful decisions about what may be appropriate.
Because aesthetic medicine isn't simply about performing a treatment.
It's about understanding the face in front of you, recognising its complexities and knowing when to treat, and when not to.

For the person who is impossible to buy for, we have the perfect thing: Evolve Gift Vouchers.
They have enough candles. They don't need another mug. And we're fairly confident nobody has ever said, “You know what I'd really love this Christmas? Another decorative hand towel.”
Enter: an Evolve gift voucher. A little something for someone who enjoys taking time for themselves, with the freedom to discuss what might be right for them when they visit.
Evolve gift vouchers are available for Christmas gifting. Very thoughtful of you, really. Available here: https://vist.ly/5mhen

Our preferred approach to end-of-year appointments is wonderfully uneventful: Plan early.
If you have a specific event or deadline, let us know during your consultation so we can discuss appropriate options and timing. And if you're not sure what you need? Please don't spend three hours diagnosing yourself online.
Book the consultation. That's literally what we're here for.

Not sure what treatment you need?
You might just know that your skin feels different, you’re noticing changes in your face, or there’s something you’d like to understand better.
That’s what a consultation is for.
Rather than choosing a treatment first, we look at your skin, facial anatomy, concerns and goals before discussing the options that may be appropriate for you.
You bring the questions. We’ll help you understand your options.

Your lips are more than just volume.
When we look at the lips, we’re also looking at their unique anatomy. Their shape, proportions, symmetry, borders and how they sit in relation to the rest of the face.
And because no two sets of lips are exactly the same, there isn’t one “ideal” shape or approach.
At Evolve, conversations about lip volume start with understanding your individual anatomy, what you’ve noticed and what you’d like to discuss before considering whether any options may be suitable for you.
Book a consultation with Emily to discuss your concerns and options.

Aesthetic medicine operates in a surprisingly small world. Tiny differences in placement, depth, proportion and technique can influence an outcome, which is why experience isn't simply knowing how to perform a procedure.
It's knowing the anatomy beneath your hands, understanding the structures you're working around and being able to adapt a plan to the individual sitting in front of you.
Precision isn't the glamorous part of aesthetics. It is, however, rather important.

What exactly are PDO threads made of?
PDO stands for polydioxanone — a flexible, absorbable polymer that gradually breaks down over time. Evolve uses several types of PDO threads, including Mono, Cog/Barbed/Suspension and Double Screw threads, with different thread types used for different purposes.
The important part? Not every thread is suitable for every face. Your individual anatomy, skin and concerns need to be assessed first.
Curious about PDO threads? Book a consultation with Emily to learn more and discuss suitability.
