Three months left in 2026. That is more than enough time to make some serious moves for your skin.

The collagen you build this month shows in 4 to 6 weeks. The pigmentation you start treating now will be significantly faded by January. The skin laxity you address before summer will look noticeably different by the new year.

Whether you have been putting off your facials, skin needling, BTL Exilis, or finally getting serious about a proper skin plan; consider this your sign.

Your 2027 skin starts with what you do right now. Not January. Now.

No two facials at Feel Good Skin and Laser are the same.

Every facial begins with an assessment of your skin on the day. From there, every choice is made around what we find. The cleanser, the treatment modality, the products, the massage technique, and the aftercare are all selected specifically for your skin. Your Fitzpatrick type, your concern, and what your skin is doing right now.

This is what personalised treatment actually looks like.

The part of the facial most clients never expect. But always need the most.

The massage. And yes, that includes the head.

Facial massage increases lymphatic drainage, stimulates circulation, releases tension in the jaw, forehead and temples, and drives products deeper into the skin. The glow you see walking out? That is circulation. Not just the products.

And the head massage? That is the part nobody sees coming. Scalp massage increases blood flow to the hair follicles, relieves tension travelling up from the jaw and neck, and gives the nervous system a genuine moment to switch off.

This is not a relaxation bonus. It is a clinical step that changes the outcome of your treatment. For your skin and for your nervous system.

Collagen banking. Let me explain what it actually means.

Your skin naturally produces collagen. From your mid-20s, that production starts to slow. By your 30s, you are losing roughly 1% per year. In perimenopause, the rate accelerates significantly.

Collagen banking is investing in your skin's collagen before the deficit becomes visible. Starting treatments that stimulate production now, so your skin has more structural reserve as it changes.

The treatments that build it most effectively: skin needling, advanced needling with exosomes and PDRN, and LED red light therapy. All stimulate collagen from different angles.

The best time to start is before you feel like you need to. The second best time is now.

3 things I would never do to my skin after 10 years as a skin specialist.

1. Skip my nighttime routine. No matter what. Imagine going to sleep with everything your skin collected throughout the day still on your face. Makeup. SPF. Pollution. Oxidised sebum. All of it pressing into your pillow for 8 hours while your skin tries to repair. Your nighttime routine is not optional.

2. Use the same products all year round without reassessing. Your skin changes with the seasons, your hormones, and your age. The routine that worked two years ago may be exactly why your skin has plateaued. I reassess regularly and so should you.

3. Skip SPF. The most simple step. Definitely not the least important. UV drives pigmentation, premature ageing, and collagen breakdown without exception. Every treatment is an investment. SPF is what protects it.

Healthy skin is not about doing everything. It is about doing the right things consistently.

Are you guilty of any of these? ๐ŸŒฟ

Skin barrier damage is real. And most people do not know they have it.

It is doing the most for you. Are you doing the same for it?

When your barrier is working, your skin looks calm, even, and hydrated. When it is not, everything falls apart. Tight after cleansing. Breakouts that never clear. Products that suddenly stop working.

That is not your skin being difficult. That is your barrier asking for help.
What breaks it down: harsh cleansers, too many actives, over-exfoliating, fragrance, and no SPF.

What brings it back: the right cleanser, ceramides, niacinamide, SPF every day, and treatments that work with your barrier.

Almost every skin concern I see at Feel Good Skin and Laser starts here. Fix the barrier first. Everything else follows.

Acne scars are not all the same. And they do not all respond to the same treatment.

It started with a personalised consultation. I looked at this client's skin specifically. The type of scarring, what was driving it, and what her skin could handle. Every step followed from what I found.

PIH is the dark mark left behind after a breakout. Textural scarring is deeper damage to the skin surface. Both need completely different approaches.

The plan I built: active acne stabilised first, pigment correction with daily SPF for the dark marks, skin needling to resurface the textural damage, and home care to hold results between sessions.

This result came from the right diagnosis, a personalised plan, and consistency.

Acne and acne scars are two different problems. They need two different plans.

Active acne is driven by excess sebum, blocked pores, P. acnes bacteria, and inflammation. Treating it means addressing all four. Not just drying the skin out.

Acne scars on brown and olive skin fall into two categories. PIH (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) is the dark mark left behind after a breakout. It responds to pigment correction and daily SPF. Textural scarring is damage at a deeper level and responds to skin needling, which stimulates new collagen to resurface the area.

The most important thing: treating active acne and protecting skin from UV while working on the marks at the same time. Every unprotected UV exposure undoes PIH progress.

At Feel Good Skin and Laser, we build a plan that addresses both. In the right order.
