For Johnny’s BIBA Hair Show entry, each model became their own character. Bold hair, strong identities and a custom-made mask designed specifically for each persona.

Connected by colour, but individual by design.

The Journey of a BIBA Student.

It begins in the bathroom mirror. Cutting your own fringe, colouring your own hair, making mistakes and discovering a passion.

Then comes the discipline. Learning the fundamentals. Respecting the rules. Repeating them until they become second nature.

And finally, the freedom.

Because once you truly understand the rules, you earn the right to bend them, challenge them and create something that’s uniquely your own.

Now it’s bringing some of Melbourne’s most passionate hairdressers together to create, inspire and celebrate what makes our industry so special.
