Bit of a different post but can we take a second to appreciate the GROWTH as a nail tech? So often in the beauty industry or any industry for that matter we get stuck in the imposter syndrome mind set, questioning why our work isn’t good enough, comparing ourselves to others and under appreciating our own growth - I know I’m definitely guilty of it myself but looking back at the difference and improvement I’ve made since I started my business over 3 years ago now I realise that although I may not always notice how much I’ve improved on a daily basis I HAVE! Starting as a beginner in this industry can cause you to put so much pressure on yourself but at the end of the day realising it takes time and practice makes perfect is one of the best things you can do - easier said then done but if your at the beginning of your nail journey and feeling that imposter syndrome - please take a second to remember that everyone started somewhere (including those nail techs you look up to or are inspired by). ALWAYS REMEMBER to give yourself credit for how far you’ve already come 🤍
