Unless you are Busta Rhymes and you can smash out full essays in 60 seconds, your wedding speech does not need to be a 20-minute TED Talk.

Uncles and dads (generally) - take note.
3–5 minutes is PLENTY. Your guests will love you for it.

And if you haven’t written anything… please don’t just decide to “wing it”. 😂
Because somehow a speech that should take 3 minutes becomes 15 minutes of “ummm… what was I saying?”

Trust me. Your MC will thank you. 😉

Literally saw a post yesterday that got me so riled up that I thought, this is just poor advice masked as “expertise.”

I often struggle with posting things like “This is why you should book me!” Because I think 🤔 “OMG Naids, you sound so up yourself.”

BUT I would rather do it a thousand times then say “Don’t book someone like (random vendor or supplier here)” because I truly do believe if you’re good enough at something the right people will find you.

And yes the irony of this post is not lost on me but you’ll notice I haven’t named any specific category, vendor or supplier because quite simply I don’t need to.
