Commercial Lease Takeover Opportunity 💃🏻 Hi everyone, I’m taking a quick break from our usual content. Thought I’d post here as well, in case anyone in our community is interested. As you know, I’ve been running my perfume classes for almost five years in Marrickville, right next to some of Sydney’s top foodie destinations. It’s walking distance to the Metro and bus stops just on the corner — safe to say, it’s one of the busiest, highest-visibility spots in the Inner West.

Sadly, I’ve outgrown the space, so I made the difficult decision to break my lease early to move to a bigger location where I can scale my handmade production.

(But, don’t worry, I’m still teaching, more on that below!)

Includes: private mini-kitchen, shower, retail shelving (it’s ready to go), customer toilet

I’ve negotiated my Marrickville lease with the landlord, so I can guarantee it’s very affordable for a commercial space in ever-trendy Marrickville.

Is anyone here interested in taking over the remainder of my lease, from October 2026 to September 2027?

Ahhh this time last week, movers arrived at our old studio in Marrickville and we officially said good bye to our sunny spot in the Inner West 🥹

But, those of you who’ve been following my Stories know that between packing moving boxes and organising our new studio signage, I’ve been very fortunate to be invited to run team building and community engagement events for Grosvenor Place at the Rocks, INDI Sydney and Western Sydney University.

Beard Oil for Father’s Day. Eco-luxe Candle-making for building residents to welcome Spring. And an intimate perfume class to farewell a well-loved and respected colleague.

Each class designed to encourage guests to lean onto their creative selves, to embrace a new skill and craft, and to create an environment for meaningful conversations and shared experiences.

As a child growing up in the Philippines, I would not have guessed in a million years this would be my path.

Today, we went to our son’s primary school’s art show and I came across a poster, I felt it was the Universe whispering: Teaching is a work of Heart.

From one heart teaching to another (you!) helping the Teacher live her dream, I am so very grateful x Louella

Seriously, I could not have asked for a better first perfume class at our NEW studio. Two brides and a beautiful couple celebrating their anniversary, the world of perfumery bringing us all together. 💗

Oh, the laughs, the stories AND the science (yes, some of our guests have medical backgrounds and one of our brides is a laboratory manager at the University!) 😍

We talked coffee and teas, rain, ocean, bush walks, all the smells we love!

And the perfumes we made that day were truly spectacular, a reflection of our guests’ creativity and inspirations.

Four and a half years ago, I opened Naturally Ready, our small handmade perfume studio along Sydenham Road.

It still feels like it was only yesterday; the excitement of signing my first ever retail lease, planning window signage and finally opening our studio doors. Right after the pandemic, the community embraced us with open arms. It was so heartwarming to see how beautiful scents brought people together in our little corner of the Inner West.

But, the time has come for me to say goodbye to the ‘Ville. And before the chaos starts with packing and moving, I just wanted to say thank you to our wonderful and vibrant community. Marrickville, you truly champion the creative path and you have changed my life forever 🥹

If you’ve attended one of my perfume classes or have bought a handmade product from me; if you’ve walked passed the studio, waved and said hello, thank you for all the love and support over the years.

These early days in Marrickville, I’ll treasure these memories forever.

And to the next small business who will take over my lease and make this bright spot their new home, I’m so excited for you!
