Because making beautiful colours from recycled materials is a bit of an adventure.
Our Solmates are made using recycled plastic + mineral talc, which means every colour behaves a little differently. Sometimes the colour can come out with swirls, little variations or markings - and we never quite know exactly what we’re going to get.
So we’ve kept this run deliberately small.
It’s a little experiment: make a small batch, see how they turn out, see what you think, and go from there.
Turns out… we’re pretty obsessed.

Tethered or untethered? You choose.
Our lids are interchangeable across the 25ml Pot, 50ml and 100ml Roll-On Applicators.
The 50ml and 100ml Roll-Ons come with a tethered lid, while the 25ml Pot comes with a non-tethered lid - but you can mix and match them however you like.
And if you need an extra one, lids are available to buy separately too.
Just another way to make your Solmates work for you.
When we started Solmates, we had one very specific idea: make it easier to apply sunscreen whenever and wherever you need it.
But along the way, we discovered our little roll-ons were useful for so much more than sunscreen. All kinds of creams and lotions, insect repellent, speciality creams like eczema creams… basically, anything you want to take with you without the mess.
And it wasn’t just about the beach. We quickly realised they were brilliant for travel too - easy to clip on, easy to access and easy to refill.
So we made a bigger 100ml applicator for when you need more, and recently added our little refillable pots for creams, lotions, pills, snacks, jewellery and all the other little things you want to keep organised on the go.
And now, we’ve bundled them up to make choosing your Solmates even easier.
