We build our little castles with what the tide gives us.
For a while, they hold.
Then the water comes..not to destroy, but to return everything to its original form.
Walls soften. Shapes disappear. Remnants remain.
And still, the tide returns, and we build again.
Perhaps this is the beauty of becoming.
Not in what survives, but in the sacred rhythm of being shaped, undone, and shaped again.

Part I of A Series : Why Do We Tie?
Perhaps there are things the body understands before the mind has words for them.
There are many reasons one may feel called or connected to rope, and even every time a rope is touched, the experience is unique in it's own way.
There are more to come..
In the meantime, Why do you tie?

The deep liminal space;
Led by a whisper within.
A mediator between the depths of reality.
Convergence between realms,
The seen and the unseen.
Encapsulating the cipher of the vast unknown.Β
Following her into surrender.

Quick intimacy is so boring.
The surface is easy to touch. It is the depths that call me.
I want to know what stirs beneath your thoughts..
The hidden currents, the wild gardens, the questions that keep you awake at night.
I want to know where you retreat when the world becomes too loud, what medicine you offer yourself when your spirit is tired fom carrying too much.
I want to know where your mind wanders when it slips beyond the horizon of the present moment, what landscapes exist inside you that no one else has ever seen.
Tell me how peace arrives in your body.
Does it bloom from the soles of your feet and rise like warm water through your bones? Or does it descend softly through the crown of your head, like sunlight filtering through a cathedral window?
I want to know what happens to your heart when joy finds you unexpectedly. Does it swell, flutter, ache, sing?
I want to know which eye surrenders its tears first, what tenderness loosens the dam, what beauty breaks you open.
I want to know the sacred details, the seemingly insignificant things that reveal the shape of a soul.

Every single time I share this practice, I am in awe of it's capabilities and the immense impact that it has.
I have had the absolute honour of weaving some powerful Somatic Sh***ri Sessions for some incredibly beautiful humans over the last 6 months between Sydney, Perth and Melbourne.
The experiences shared in these sessions have been enormous and I feel compelled to share some of their words shared with me , as I am quite frankly captivated beyond words.
These shares are coming from both men and women, ranging from the ages of 30 to 65, from all walks of life. This particular season the themes that came forth were anxiety, depression, self love/self worth stories, autism, neueodivergence, disconnection to self, and numbness. It has truly been amazing to see who walks in the door, what stage of life they are in and witness them become curious about meeting themselves in such a space.
I am so honoured to be trusted to hold a safe and sacred space for one's greatest unravelling. And, I continue to be so deeply moved by what unfolds when the body can speak it's own language and rewrite the narratives we once told it to believe.
I realize I haven't shared so much of these very specific reflections, but I think I would like to share more.
I am here to support any questions, feedback, musings, and would love to hear about your experiences in rope should you have any either with me or someone else, that you feel to share. β‘

She is silk threaded through iron,
a wild thing taught to bloom within walls.
The cage does not diminish her beauty,
it reveals the quiet ways she reaches for the light.
And in every effort to escape, the sacred feminine remembers herself. πΈ

Winter whispers a soothing invitation.
To soften the outward gaze,
To loosen our grip on our external performance,
To return to the fertile darkness beneath the surface.
While our world appears still, life is not absent. It is gathering.
Roots deepen where eyes cannot see.
Seeds rest in sacred incubation, dreaming themselves into their next expression.
This season is not asking us to bloom.
It is asking us to listen.
To tend the quiet garden within.
To honour the pauses between breaths.
To trust the unseen work unfolding within us.
Winter reminds us that not all growth is visible, and that sometimes the most profound transformations occur in the silent chambers of our own becoming.
So, draw inward. Wrap yourself in the warmth of your own presence.
Allow the darkness to hold you, the silence to nourish you,
and the mystery to weave its slow alchemy through your bones.
Spring will come.
For now, rest in the beauty of becoming.

Sultry Solstice πΉππ
A room full of strangers gathering around the oldest fire we know..story.
One by one, brave souls stepped forward and offered pieces of themselves to the altar of the room. Suddenly, we were not strangers at all.
Only hearts, peeled open.
Voices trembling at the edge of revelation.
Only the exquisite ache of being witnessed.
Souls, naked in their truth, carrying entire universes in their mouths.
Words that dripped with longing and des!re.
Words that trembled with vulnerability and grief.
Words that carried the ache of being human and the ecstasy of being alive.
Every poem a visceral portal to the tender places we so often hide.
The alchemy of er0$ spoken aloud, landing like a pulse. A heartbeat. The way vulnerability can undress us more completely than skin ever could.
What a profound honour it was to co-weave a transmission alongside , whose vision alongside brought this constellation of humans together.
Held within the dreamscape by at , the space itself seemed to hum as though the walls knew we had gathered to remember something ancient.
And to weave this story with my muse, was an absolute vision. A reflection that art is not something we create alone, it is something that moves through us when we dare to listen.
A night that left fingerprints on the soul. π«
