About Us
Salon Purpose is more than just a hair salon. We’re a purpose-driven, award-winning salon in the heart of Manly, committed to creating beautiful hair while making a positive impact in our community. We believe in teamwork, growth, kindness, and delivering an exceptional experience for every client.
The Role
As a Salon Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting our stylists and ensuring the salon runs smoothly. You’ll receive full on-the-job training, so no previous salon experience is required.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Greeting and looking after clients.
• Shampooing and preparing clients for services.
• Making teas, coffees and refreshments.
• Keeping the salon clean, organised and beautifully presented.
• Assisting stylists throughout the day.
• Washing towels and maintaining back-of-house areas.
• Learning the foundations of the hair industry from an experienced team.
What We’re Looking For
• Friendly, positive and reliable.
• Eager to learn and grow.
• Great communication and people skills.
• Takes pride in presentation and attention to detail.
• Works well in a team.
• Must be available Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
