What’s the difference between Standard Remy and Double Drawn Remy hair? 🧐

Both are made from 100% human hair, but the way they’re manufactured is very different!

✨ Standard Remy
• More affordable
• Contains a natural mix of long and shorter hairs
• The ends naturally thin out
• Sheds, prone to tangling and can matt over time
• Typically lasts around 3–6 months

✨ Double Drawn Remy
• Short hairs are removed during manufacturing
• Thick from top right through to the bottom
• No shedding, tangling or matting
• Creates a fuller, more luxurious look using the same amount of hair
• Typically lasts 12+ months

The hair shown in these photos is Standard Remy, making it a great real-life example of how this hair type naturally becomes thinner through the ends.

Did you know that a very common misconception in the hair extension industry is labels like “Russian” and “European” hair. While these names are often associated with ‘premium’ quality, the vast majority of hair sold under these labels isn’t premium, nor sourced from Russia or Europe at all!!

Hair extensions are an investment, so it’s important to be educated on what you’re paying for before making a decision. Knowing the difference between Standard Remy, Double Drawn, hair density, lifespan and quality will help you choose the right hair for your goals, not simply the cheapest option.
