Hey guys! Brae here! I am set to open our new salon in February and looking for Senior Hairdresser to join our team. We have a full time, part time or causal position available. Flexible hours. Fun, fresh working environment in a busy modern salon located in the main Street of Laidley, currently birds and fellas hair studio.

From humble beginnings in my own little slice of home salon paradise, to new ventures - I’m super excited to announce that from February I will be taking over the reins as the proud new owner of ‘Birds and Fellas’.

This name carries a helluva lot of history and passion however we’re embracing change as we kickstart the businesses next chapter.

Allow me to introduce you to- BAJE Hair Studio. Yes, you read it right, it's pronounced "beige" for those curious minds. The name represents a fresh start & a blank canvas where my little tribe (Brae, Ambi, Joe + Ezbyn) can create a great future together.

For my existing clients hoping to lock down an appointment upon my return in 2024, please reach out to me directly and I’ll see what I can do for you. I can’t wait to get back into it , alongside a team of familiar faces.

I have a demanding full-time client coming on board in early May 2023 - but for now, she’s busy baking away in my tummy.

Three will soon become four in our crazy home as we get set to welcome a baby girl into our lives!

To prepare for the transition (+ to make sure I keep healthy for the baby) I no longer have capacity to cater for new clients.

To avoid disappointment (+ unruly hair), all of my current clients are urged to lock and load their upcoming appointments well in advance.

I’ll still be on deck Tuesday to Thursday - but will hang up my scissors at the end of March to temporarily catch my breath before our family expands.

If you’re still on the hunt for a hairstylist for an event/ wedding during that period, please feel free to swing me a message.

In what could be chalked up as a mid-year-resolution, I’m working towards striking better work-life balance with my little salon and to achieve that will be jazzing up your manes from 8.30am-8.30pm on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Thursday’s.

I love being a part of your big days so will still be available for weddings on weekends.

While there’s plenty of my love to share around in three days, my diary is looking chokka blocks so this is a timely reminder to lock in appointments in advance to avoid disappointment (+ untamed locks). I’m a one man show so unfortunately when spots are gone, they’re gone.

If you’re feeling sick in any way or know you might need to cancel, please flick me a message and let me know as soon as possible. It gives me an opportunity to offer your spot to someone who might be in some desperate need of hair care!
