👂 Not hearing quite as clearly as you normally do?

👂 Feeling like something just isn't quite right?

And remember, we have our NO WAX, NO FEE guarantee!

If there's no wax requiring removal, you won't pay for a standard wax removal appointment. It's that simple!

Whether it's wax or something else causing your symptoms, we're here to help you work out the next steps.

📅 Appointments are available before 19th October, so get in quick!

Cotton buds: Great for makeup, terrible for ears. Don't push the problem deeper.

You wake up and your ear feels blocked.

You have a shower, grab a coffee, eat breakky — whatever your morning routine looks like — and then suddenly…

POP.

Your ear feels unblocked again.

Most people put it down to their Eustachian tubes, something going on in the middle ear, or assume, “Maybe the wax fell out.”

So you forget about it.

Fast forward a week or two…

Your ear blocks again. Except this time, it DOESN’T pop.

And of course, today of all days, it’s Saturday and you’re supposed to be getting ready for your best friend’s wedding!

You call Clear Ears Townsville because we offer emergency and after-hours wax removal appointments.

We take a look inside your ear and what do we find?

A significant amount of compacted earwax that has likely been building up for months.

That brief period where you could hear normally may simply have been a tiny opening through the wax allowing sound through. As the wax shifted or built up further, that opening closed — and suddenly you’re completely blocked.

We clear the wax, you can hear again… but now you’ve paid extra for a weekend appointment AND missed the morning getting ready with your best friend.

And we see situations like this far too often.

It’s one of the reasons we introduced our NO WAX, NO FEE GUARANTEE.

If you come in and there’s no wax that needs removing, we don’t charge you for wax removal.

And remember — not all earwax needs to come out! A healthy amount of wax is completely normal and plays an important role in protecting your ear canal.

So next time your ear starts feeling blocked — even if it eventually “pops” and feels better — don’t wait until the worst possible day to have it checked.

DEMENTIA AWARENESS WEEK

Did you know that hearing loss is associated with an increased risk of dementia?

Hearing difficulties can make conversations harder and lead to social isolation, which is why looking after your hearing is so important!

Sometimes, hearing difficulties can be caused by something as simple as impacted earwax.

At Clear Ears Townsville, we help our community hear clearly and stay connected to the people who matter most.

This Dementia Awareness Week, encourage your loved ones to have their hearing checked.

Did you know:

We don't require clients use ear drops before visiting us?

They are of course welcome to if they'd like, however often times we find it much more beneficial to get people in sooner, rather than waiting for multiple days with blocked ears.

Don't let yourself suffer for 3 or more days through symptoms, we'll use oils during the appointment if need be, but they aren't always required and sometimes the drops can even make things worse depending on how they've been used!

We are so proud to sponsor the Teachers West Rugby Union Club Vikings under 10s competition!
