“Can you just tattoo over my old brows?”

Sometimes, yes—but adding more pigment isn’t always the best solution.

If the existing tattoo is light, faded and sitting within a suitable shape, a refresh or correction may be possible. If it’s dark, saturated or outside the shape we’re trying to create, removal may need to come first.

Tattooing over unsuitable pigment can make the brows heavier, muddier and harder to correct later. My goal isn’t simply to cover what’s there—it’s to create the best long-term result for your face.

Not all brows are ready to be reworked… and this is why.

When brows have been tattooed multiple times, pigment can start to build up in the skin. Over time, this often shows up as darker, heavier, or blurred brows that don’t quite sit right anymore.

In these cases, adding more pigment isn’t the answer.

Fading the old tattoo first allows us to remove that excess build-up and create a clean, balanced base to work from. This is what gives us the ability to achieve soft, refined, and natural-looking results when we create your new set.

It’s not about starting again — it’s about doing it properly.
