We’ve had a few changes behind the scenes lately in our Goolwa beauty & skin clinic, so I wanted to keep everyone in the loop - especially as we head toward the busiest part of the year.

Our beautiful Tayla has made the move to live in Darwin as she comes toward the end of her Dermal studies. She was such a bright, capable and lovely part of our team, and I’m really going to miss having her here. We wish her all the best for what’s to come 💞

Hannah has been such a hardworking part of our team, often juggling salon life with hospitality and very little downtime. She’s now stepped away from Saturdays so she can finally have a proper weekend and a bit more balance. You’ll still find her with us Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Kimmi is with us Tuesdays and Fridays, plus occasional Saturdays, and has now completed her final educational upgrade to Diploma level. She’s a fabulous chat, professional, trustworthy and her latest work has been blowing me away!!
She’s looking forward to building client relationships, so if you haven’t booked with Kimmi yet, now is a great time to get to know her 🫶

I’ll also be taking Wednesdays off for around six weeks while I complete clinical work experience, followed by my uni practical week in Brisbane at the end of October 🔎. My diary is now almost completely booked until November, even with extending my hours where I can.

So please, please rebook where you can! If you like a particular day or time, it’s becoming much harder to squeeze things in last minute. And if I don’t have the availability you need, Hannah and Kimmi are both here to look after you 🥰

Christmas is also creeping up 🎄 If you know you’ll want an appointment before Christmas, now is the time to lock it in.

📍With our smaller team, there will also be times when we need to lock the salon door while everyone is in treatment. If you’re planning to pop in for products or vouchers, just message or call ahead and we can let you know when someone will be at the desk.

Did you know hyaluronic acid is actually naturally found in our skin? 💧

Despite the name, it’s not an exfoliating ‘acid’ like glycolic or salicylic. Its job is to bind water and help keep the skin hydrated and plump.

Max Hydra Plus+ is one of my favourites for dehydrated skin because there’s a lot more to it than just hyaluronic acid.

It contains niacinamide to support the skin barrier, Centella Asiatica to calm and soothe, peptides, Snow Mushroom for hydration, plus liquorice and turmeric extracts for their soothing and antioxidant benefits.

An oil-soluble exfoliating acid that works particularly well on oily, congested and blemish-prone skin.
