A little clarification 🤎

I’m incredibly proud to have been voted The Gold Coast Bulletin’s Best Spray Tanner on the Gold Coast for 2026 🥹🤎

But after seeing the finished article, I wanted to clarify something.

When I was interviewed, I was asked specifically about UV exposure and why I believe spray tanning can be an alternative to deliberately tanning in the sun. I answered from my own personal experience and perspective.

The article ended up taking a much stronger health/education angle than I expected, and just to be clear, I’m a qualified Beauty Therapist and spray tan artist, not a doctor, dermatologist or skin-health professional. It was never my intention to give medical advice.

Which is also slightly ironic considering I start my day with a V and a v**e, so I’m probably not exactly who you want writing your health and wellness plan 😂

What I do want to celebrate is the journey behind this award.

From completing my Diploma of Beauty Therapy at 16/17, to starting my business in 2021 while on maternity leave, becoming a single mum, opening Villa Tan and building it into what it is today.

This award means so much to me, and I’m so grateful to every person who voted, booked, recommended and supported me along the way.

This one is for all of us 🤎✨

This wedding tan was so special to me 🥹 Khiana started seeing me just over a year ago for regular tans, I then found out she was a nail tech so we started being apart of each others self care routine! How honoured I was to be able to do her tan, hair and makeup for her wedding and also be a guest at the weekend!! how blessed I am for the people my business had bought into my life 🥹🩷
