Apparently, all I needed was my ✨random pantry ingredients✨ and a little bit of delusion. 😂

These crunchy cacao quinoa discs are made with Juice Plus Cacao Rocks, puffed quinoa and natural crunchy peanut butter… and honestly? They might be my new obsession.

ONE DAY CLOSER TO…

Yesterday, during my daughter’s birth suite tour, her midwife suggested something I absolutely loved.

She told her to make a list of all the things she’s looking forward to after baby arrives — first cuddle, first day at home, first Christmas, first holiday… So that when labour gets hard, her support people can remind her:

“You’re one more contraction closer to…”

And it got me thinking…

What if I did the same thing for my weight-loss journey?

Not a list focused on a number.

A list of everything I’m looking forward to as I become healthier, stronger and more comfortable in my body.

One day closer to moving freely without my body feeling like it’s holding me back.

One day closer to walking up two flights of stairs without being completely exhausted.

One day closer to sitting in any restaurant chair without wondering if it will fit comfortably.

One day closer to getting on a plane without worrying about an extension belt.

One day closer to clothes fitting the way I want them to.

One day closer to saying yes to things without wondering whether my size will make them difficult.

One day closer to feeling proud of what my body can do.

And one day closer to the woman I know is still in there.

So when the days feel hard, when the scales don’t move, when motivation disappears…

I’m going to remind myself:

I’m still one day closer.

And there are so many beautiful things waiting for me on the other side of this journey.

This is my new focus.

Not just losing weight.

Building a life I can move through more freely.
